Also, where do I go with suggestions with Usurper? I sent a friend request thinking Id just message you but I imagine you probably get hordes of requests and that your profile would become a jumbled mess if you accepted them all..so what would be the best alternative?
Thanks again for satiating my hunger for a souls game while awaiting Code Vein!
You need to try the other settings too because its definitely NOT your machine this is an issue I am trying to solve for a long time related to the engine.
So All I can suggest s you try and change the other settings, the alternative sync method for example.
Read this.
You will simply restrict yourself with RPG Maker
Seriously the ONLY positive side about rpg maker is that its glitch free .... its so limited they keep pretending that "you're limited by your imagination" No you're not ...rpg maker is limiting you.
If you are a complete newbie that is simply starting to understand what is code then RPG maker might be good for a couple of weeks to give you a concept on how event/codelines function it might be good for you to understand it that way, but if you stay in it you will not evolve as a developer.
GMS is really good and its been bundled for less than 5$ with all its dlc's, good stuff.
I used rpg maker and it's incredibly restrictive, and pretty backwards, GMS has its few quirks(like that bloody error) but a million times better than rpg maker can ever be.
Cant be sure since I have not moved to it (finishing Usurper in gms1) but from what I seen GMS2 is better in 99% of things compared to gms1 definitely more compatible and less buggy.
I worked with a lot of developers on steam when i used to be a part of a very large curator group "Im not anymore" and almost always when they're about to release a game on steam they get a fake youtuber to ask for email contacts trying to get keys or sometimes they actually fooled them to get around 100 keys " I will do a giveaway " which most of the time they ended up buying or some of them made a really negative ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hateful video on the game.
So be careful! also looking forward for release. : )
Thanks for the warning though!
