This game reminds me of the star wars sequel movies they are just to feed the mouths of people craving fan service. There are many characters that you get to see again and it gets you hyped for a little bit but everything else about this game infuriates me so much.It disgusts me how easily you can kill off characters without any build up of connection to each character. In borderlands 2 it surprised me how Mordecai's bird blood wing got captured and killed off you can feel the emotion that Mordecai was emitting from the death of his bird or the death of Roland you could see how important Roland was to every other character through after the game and through the DLC of Tiny Tina's assault of Dragon's keep.
The writing was absolutely awful in this game there was no connection to every character and as I mentioned above how are you going to kill off and make the characters get defeated so easily. For example Lilith was beaten so easily even though in Borderlands 2 she was revered as the strongest siren and all she got was a poorly animated cut scene where the Calypso twins easily beat her. Gearbox also killed off Maya so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easily like I was hyped to see what she could do but then she died for some dumb ass reason give characters more background info at this point of the game I didn't even care who died because they never gave any connection to other characters. I found the side quests more intriguing than the actual main story. The main antagonists of this game was also disappointing at least for Borderlands Pre sequel the story line was actually very interesting but very little content for Borderlands 3 the Antagonists were just annoying, Handsome Jack was an amazing Villian you could see the terrible things that he's done through his coporate power and he was evil through brains not through some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ power like the ability to leech off anything. When he killed roland and captured Lilith the build up to that point was what made the storyline ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing not when the Calypso twins could just leech anything and theres no build up to any fight or cutscene. Also keep consistency throughout the story how can we open many vaults throughout the game when it took handsome jack a whole storyline in order to charge up a vault key. The only thing they kept consistent is the many plot holes they've implemented throughout the game and how fast they're trying to get through this story. The story went past so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quick it kind of made me less interested in the story.
On the game play I found it quite easy many of the bosses I easily breezed through. Many of the bosses here are very predictable the only bosses that I've enjoyed through this game were GenIVIV,The Vaultward and Kategawa Jr. other than that all the bosses were very easy to beat.
On a positive note there were things that enjoyed throughout the game I liked the background information that they've given like the story on Atlas,Maliwan and Jakobs i've always wondered what these companies were like and actually enjoyed these parts of the game but in conclusion this game is purely just for fan service it couldn't live up to borderlands 2 or the other and out of all the borderlands I'd actually put this on the bottom of my list. The story of the DLC Handsome Casino was better than the main story
