Highly overrated. As someone who enjoys games as experiences, I can honestly say this thing offered neither a game nor an experience. It was more akin to a powerpoint where you click to go to the next slide. Perhaps the impact it should have had was lessened due to poor dialogue translations. The themes offered have also been done before and in better ways. This felt more like a free demo or teaser to a bigger product than a stand-alone game. Overall, don't waste your time.

An experience that sucks you in and lingers. Might not appeal to everyone, but as a bonus it has catchy death knells.

Best enjoyed alone.

Secret Word: Fair

Another amusing way to pass the time while also making you doubt and question who you really are. Contains an equally profound and unexpectedly wholesome message.

The best game to play when you want to unwind and have a comfy time. Much more than the farming simulator it appears to be at first glance. Go fishing, mining, lumbering, and even wooing, lol. A pleasant surprise! The most wholesome game you will ever play.

An urban environment stylized in gothic fashion? Check!
Love, loss, and revenge bundled into a tale of personal angst? Check!
Dark humor, and a multitude of memorable, well-fleshed out characters with sassy, BAMF, and creepy all represented? Check, checkity, check!
The slaying of vampire stereotypes and a glimpse into the humanity and lack thereof in White Wolf's World of Darkness? Depends on your choices, really.

But...A level scarier than some Nossies? Twists that might make a Tzimisce look twice? Views and individuals that may entrance a Toreador? You'll get all of this and more!

This is one of my top favorite RPGs. The ability to choose from multiple clans and skill sets for your protagonist gives the game a lot of replay value. You're able to unravel different facts and scenarios depending on your choices. Plus, VTMB has superb dialogue (Just ask the Malks! Though the other voices in their head may stifle yours...). I recommend looking for the unofficial patch by Wesp5 that adds to and fixes bugs in the original content though. And although the graphics could be improved, this game was ultimately a wonderful and very fun experience.
