Neither here or there. Do I build, do I travel? What am I doing?
I've been playing with some friends for at least 10 hours, and I still get less of out of this game than I did from Lego Fortnite. I'm sorry, but Lotr flavoured experience can only cover for so much. This game is lacking I'm afraid. Seems unfinished or released to early.
- Wonky building
- Fighting ok
- Atmosphere low, considering that it's a lotr game (and could have gotten so much for "free")

Good game. Gives you the total war experience just with more of the fantasy vibe.
I'm already a fan of the total war series, and played some with warhammer as a child, and this mix for me, could not be better.

Early Access Review
Promised myself I wouldn't play any more early access-style games, but I'm quite happy I ignored my hunch.

I'm impressed!

Building is better than other similar games. Solved with fewer blocks but more intuitive placing. Grid/snap or not. Achieving the glorious viking hall look is easy, you don't really even need to try that hard.

The game is beautiful. Don't let the low resolution of the textures fool you. The designers way of playing with light, fog/smoke and high density foliage, makes the game super-immersive. I certainly got that mysterious viking vibe.

Music is calm and relaxing, sound effects may have some room for improvement.

Similar to Ark Survival, Conan Exiles and Rust, but at the same time something new and exciting. Can't wait to explore more of the story and "tech tree" with friends.

Will try to edit once I've played more, but probably won't. The in game hours should talk for themselves once I've played it some more.

Yes. I really like this game, but I am lazy so this is the review.

Nice game for teamwork. You discover more and more features as you play. 15 hours in, and I still cannot get my crew through the winter. A game that gradually develops to a more and more difficult adventure. I do recommend this for Lan-parties and online gaming with friends!

I would actually explain this as a more fast paced Settlers IV.
