Great game. Better than the remake.

If you are a fan of the series then buy this and give feedback to the devs so they can make an awesome game. If you are not a fan then don't buy it, it isn't close to done. It is not in a beta phase, more alpha-ish. It works, thats about it. There are a lot of bugs and a lot of patches inbound.

It has a large company backing it so it isn't an indie pet-project, its a game that will be completed. If you want to see the transition from beginning to sales of a game this is a good one to look at.

It took me 200 hour to not fail terribly. 400 to get past the first 200 years in-game. 700 hours to complete a full play-through. And 900 hours to start having fun. 1500 hours to be okay at the game.

This is a good game. It takes awhile to start winning or profiting, but once you hit the point where you start making bank the game plays as you want it. The only problem is that Swadian knights are OP and 1 good army of 70-80 and you can conquer half the map.
