I expect a mobile game to throw ads and microtransaction offers my way constantly but for a steam game thats low. Even if it's free, if Im gonna spend money on a fishing game its gonna be thats atleast decent

As with many people who played this game, I'm not a Harry Potter fan. I thought the world was cool but the story kinda sucked and I didnt like any of the characters (besides hermione because shes played by Emma Watson whos hot af) but when I saw this game it looked like it was all of the good with none of the bad. While I do have some complaints I will say that this game was stunningly made, they did basically what they set out top do which was create a fully open world and interactive game from the POV of a hogwarts student while totally disconnecting from the actual setting and feel of the movies due to it being a different time period.

For positives, there are many. The graphics are stunning, as someone who enjoys open world games, good graphics are somewhat a key point as they are the centerpiece of world building and they did a great job, clean textures ESPECIALLY with the combat, nothing looked rushed atleast to my eyes, and everything seemed to be in place.
The combat was INCREDIBLE. it takes a lot to create a game where a mage isnt just button mashing spells and they did that really well, with so many spells and no way it forces u to use them in combat (besides atleast 1 of each category) you can make some very interesting spell combos to do different things. For example. I had 2 sets of spells, the first was to take care of AOE, burst damage, and close range stuff and the second was longer range single target and crowd control. dancing between these two spell sets made combat incredibly engaging and fun.
Another good point in the game was the quests. While not all of them were crazily engaging and something youve never seen before, many of them were actually quite intriguing. Many of them were super interactive and felt like your choices really steered the course of the quest which is a welcome change of pace to have a sense of control over the story. that being said if I have to find one more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ winged key i might make love to oncoming traffic
The last notable positive is the character customization. with the ability to basically skin your clothes into any other piece youve found or unlocked through a quest you can make some incredibly interesting looks, It was quite enjoyable to run around as a character who looks like a homicidal maniac with a blood red mask and a black cloak. With a plethora of options its kinda up to the player on what they want to do with their look.
There are plenty of other good points about this game that I didnt mention but it also has flaws too which are definitely worth noting
Firstly, they repeat enemies. a LOT. there are probably about 7 or so different enemies youre gonna be fighting for basically the entire game. you better hope you like fighting spiders, goblins, dark wizards, and whatever the weird water dog things were called because those remain basically the same throughout the entire game with different form changes such as bigger spider or stronger wizard with an outfit change. the combat was fun but it gets somewhat tiring killing the 300th spider. with such a unique universe im very dissapointed to not see much more variety in the enemies you fight.
There are some minor perfomance issues specifically in the loading screen, I often spent around a full minute or two loading shaders which for my pc which is on the higher end is a bit much. My buddies have also had this issue. That being said, I never really experienced any real lag or anything in game. it froze a couple times but for a game this big that doesnt surprise me
Some of the quests are really annoying to do. I dont like to play with guides or use them really at all so this isnt a problem for someone who does but there are a couple guests that give you a vague map to go find some treasure and it doesnt mark it on your map and considering im fairly sure it wasnt nearby since I looked for well over an hour for one of these. it was just annoying really, I enjoy puzzles but with really no indication as to where im supposed to go other than a crude drawing of the location and it being nowhere in sight it just got annoying.
The only other issues I had were minor and personal.
It took me 45 hours to complete the game and roll credits with fairly considerable attention to side quests and such, I had about 70% field guide completion but for someone who ignored all that the game would probably be about 30 hours long if I had to guess which is a decent time for a game this big.
In conclusion, this game is really a must play. We're in something of a drought nowadays with game developers releasing unfinished games and not fixing them in a timely manner but this game was released in an amazing state with hours of constant fun and a compelling story. Very reccomended for all people, not just Harry Potter fans.

Not gonna lie, it kinda sucked no pun intended. I think there were about 4 different poses for the guy in the entire game and the dialogue was pretty dry. The only redeeming factor was that the music in the nsfw scene kinda went hard but that was about it. Honestly just dont waste ur time.

With a vivid story, frequent plot twists, and a surprising ending, Bloons TD 6 is sure to give the player an experience like no other in this story driven masterpiece. Please note that due to extensive bloon genocide, this game may not be suited for younger audiences.

Fishing is great, good game but I played this game while trying to read Shakespeare for some college assignment and fishing certainly did not help me understand whatever moon runes my professor was trying to have me decipher.

It's just ♥♥♥ boring. When playing a game youre looking for action and such and looking for the fun parts of an activity. If I were to play a fishing game it wouldnt be fun if i sat there for 5 hours and didn't get a single bite. That's kind of what has been happening to me with this. I've spent the past 4 and a half hours walking around looking to just shoot some animals and have a good time but that just hasnt happened. Ive killed like 2 deer, a couple birds, and one or two rat lookin things. in 4 hours. basically its taking me like 45 minutes to kill anything. It's halfway impossible to even FIND a deer in this stupid wooded area im in and on the off chance that i HAPPEN to stumble upon one, they run away before i even know theyre there. Is it realistic? Maybe but who the ♥♥♥♥ wants to play a GAME where 95% of your time is spent with your thumb up your ass wondering wtf is going on. Its basically stroll in the woods simulator more than anything else. TLDR: If youre looking for a game where you shoot stuff frequently then youre in the wrong place but if you want to roleplay as a real hunter who doesnt see ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for 2 and a half hours then this is the game for u

Short game but REALLY well made. Feels like you're working towards something at all times and the level design is really fun and interactive. It's open enough where you can still explore to an extent but not enough that you can really get lost. The puzzles are the same way where sometimes they can take some thought but they're usually pretty simple. The story was amazing and kept me engaged the entire time. Only thing I wish is that it was a bit longer, took me about 6 hours give or take to beat the game without going well out of my way to do side stuff but still paying attention to it. Plus the cat is adorable <3.

It's really just not good. The only redeeming factor is the gunplay which is kind of fun but thats literally where it ends. Buggy as ♥♥♥♥, half the time I cant even get into the game thru either being put into dead lobbies when there are full ones available or connection issues saying my internet is dead when it simply is not. The gun choices are incredibly limited, there are like 4 choices at most for each weapon class which is incredibly underwhelming. It's fun if you just want to shoot people on a bigger map than call of duty but thats literally where the good parts end. The maps are SOMEWHAT well made but honestly a lot of them are just annoying and I find myself playing the same maps a lot. Long story short its not a good game, it's full of bugs and your choices are limited and youll likely find it incredibly repetitive.

Having been unable to beat the second boss in Dark Souls Remastered, I went into this assuming that I would get my ♥♥♥♥ kicked in and rage quit after an hour and a half and end up refunding but this game perfectly balances challenge with lenience. Every time I died to a boss my thoughts were, "Ok i got rolled but thats totally doable". There are tons of weapon choices and the story is fun and interesting and the open world aspect leads me to finding something new at every turn. I would wager money this game will win game of the year by a land slide and it certainly deserves it.

the game itself is very fun, theres a lot of stuff to do and its a great time killer. Sadly, the optimization is poor to put it nicely and ive noticed more than a couple bugs. I've never seen my computer struggle this bad with such a simple game and yet i can still hardely run it smoothly on lower graphics settings. Other than glaring performance issues the game is pretty satisfying
