I love this game most of the time and despise it with a passion some times, I'm writing this review after getting killed multiple time in high corruption boss fights due to lag spikes in the servers, don't get me wrong the game has a lot of good aspects and promising potential but until some of the issues gets fixed the game is just frustrating to play.

Prithee be careful.

An excellent CRPG highly recommended, The writing & humor are top tier, the only gripe i have is the dlc are lackluster.

Pros:
-Fun game play loop especially in co-op
-Enough variety between classes, mods, skills to keep things interesting.
-Decent graphics

Cons:
-No in game text or voice chat.
-Game crashes the host while in multiplayer.
-random disconnects even when solo "internet connection error" losing progress is quite frustrating and apparently this issue has been there since launch.
-No lobby browser, Matchmaking is convoluted.

Others:
-No ability to trade items.
-map and fast travel UI could use some improvement.
-Had some micro stutter/freezing issue but solved following a guide on the internet.

Conclusion: If the random disconnects gets solved this will be an easy recommend for anyone who is looking for a looter shooter.

I've put up a lot with this game from bugs,lag,duping to disabling trade all together but this final update is what did it to me the watermark system which was grindy enough on its own got even grinder by nerfing drop rates from mobs and chests (elite, expedition, large) it became a job to get your watermark up you can do 2 elite areas and end up with 1 or 2 armor pieces, i don't know what AGS was thinking but this is not the way to add longevity to your game.

The game has alot of potential and the devs are constantly adding & improving content.

Its good as good as arpg gets.

It's alright.

This game is good it has the potential to be great after some bug fixes & polish, my main concern transfering from RO2 to Vietnam was the weapons mostly being fully auto and i gotta say the devs did a great job in balancing the fully auto aspect of the weapons. the jungle maps arent that great might get better ones in the future.


Side note for RO2 veterans the game feels different beast from RO2 and requiers some getting used to and, also you might not find it as immersive as RO2 maybe with time it'll grow on you
