Kinda wants the review to be neutral. but.

The game is only great if you play with a friend. As it is almost impossible to play the game alone because of toxic people. What they will do is team kill you. Then vote kick you.

If you have somebody to play with, then you will probably have a great time. You can retaliate. You can still be in the match. And atleast you can stay at a stalemate with the ♥♥♥♥♥ that teamkills you.

Edit 2021: The game is in a really bad state at the moment. You can't find a game that doesn't have someone that doesn't use some kind of cheat software. "Closet cheaters". to not talk about the bugs. year 2 to year 3 was the best in my opinion.

Tries game. Gets caught two times in a row. Gets hooked. Enters struggle mode. Begines to struge. Game says "Spam space to strugle". The ♥♥♥♥♥ i am begines to use both hands to spam my space key. Dies instantly.

Flawed game, And it sure does ♥♥♥♥. Is this early access with paid dlc?

Could use much better optimization. The game has steadily becoming worse and worse since launch. The core mechanics worked fine at launch. But now the gamemode Frontline lags as all hell, and turning things down in settings dosen't seem to do anything. Parrying dosen't seem to work anymore either. Having problems with pressing a button but waiting and your character might or might not respond to your imputs.

Because of these experiences as of late i DO NOT RECOMEND the game for the time being.

This game is trash.

honestly want to have a refund so that my friend can get his money back for wasting it on this.

so i had this experience where if i played co-op, the bosses where bugged as hell. seath targeted both of us. as if the bosses weren't in sync. very bad experience. need a patch soon and because of that the game is almost unplayable, at least in coop. don't know if other people experince it tho. but the worst part is that the character looks dump and graphically worse than in the original dark souls. almost as if the character was toned down in graphic.

Well, the story is good, but the combat is ♥♥♥♥. moves dosn't response to the clicks of a button half of the time, which gets you killed. plus a guy can kill you with his fist faster than with his sword :/.

It looks promising, but it needs some tweeks to make the gameplay better. so at it stands now i won't recomend the game, or atleast not yet. It is not finished and it is in it's early stages, so i might come back to look at it after a month or two.
it NEEDS:

- smoother controlls (feels a bit klonky) and the view lock dose not always respond
- better world creation (was looking for a diging tool, to make a cave, and some coustomization: like armor pices, maybe a character creation and some class selection. Seperated.) maybe some tools that are square (to make an coridor down in a hole)
- needs better animation (not nesesary, but i think it is crusial, and the characters looks a bit stiff) also under the category of the controlls. enemys are a bit klonky in animations.
- the user interface might need a little work, maybe make it simpler, a bit nicer to look at. specialy in the world building mode.
- more options for the inventory system, for example: armor slots for armor pices, rings or trinkets, and an upgrade system for weapons and armor.
- maybe some support for controllers. (didn't work so well with my steam controller, but some actions i where able to pull of)

would be nice if an developer took some time to take a look at this, and maybe replyed to some of my thoughts.

spillet er bare ringen. man kan ikke ændere hvordan man ser ud vis man har fået en lorte character model.. jeg har en sort character model, og jeg er hvid i virkeligheden, og hver gang jeg kigger i mit inventar ser jeg en sort n***** p** og så kan man ikke en gang ændrer det. skuffende.
