I will keep this short. If you like story-driving games that require stealth and quick thinking, this game is for you. I highly recommend you turn subtitles on and change the language to French for a more immersive experience. The total leng of the game is around 12-15 hours but it still an amazing experience.

loved the minor focus trees!! UK and USA are somehow balanced but buggy. The naval combat tries to introduce a load of new ideas into the game. However, it is a system that requires a bit of micromanagement and getting used to...not friendly towards new players in general. It needs to be reworked so it is easier to handle. Some of the DLCs are obsolete since their trees were never redone!

paid 20 bucks for half a game....Was it worth it? not really. When you SEGA pick a part of beautiful game just to make profit, you have to wonder how much longer you want to support this type of industry. My advice is put all the dlcs on sale 75% so that people that paid good money for you game get their money's worth. I highly encourage all reviewers to downvote all WARHAMMER dlcs in protest for this greedy behavior

This game is far from being perfect, it has potential and most of its short-comings will be fixed with new DLCs and expansion packs.Whether that is a good or a bad thing, Its up for discussion. However, in its current state CIV VI feels imcomplete, boring and very repetitive, even more than other civ games. 3 major things that need to be addressed in my opinion are as follows:
1-movement: units move strangely accross the board, it makes combat dull as chassing others accross rivers and mountains is slow. If you missclick, well you are fu cked. bring back movement to civ V
2-combat: the promotion system and current combat makes it very little rewarding to sustain/upgrade experienced-troops. When playing CIV V, you had an incentive to produce certain units and updrade to retain certain "special combat" bonuses that would be otherwise lost. While certain units do have special bonuses in this game, they dont feel particularly fun or game changing, they are for the most part negligable % combat bonuses. I miss the long-bow range promotion or the blitz ability that allowed you to attack twice. In terms of combat, ranged units are always worthy investments, much so than meele or cav units, so feel free to spam those if you want to overwhelm the AI. Also, the AI rarely upgrades troops, which might explain why city-states get rammed everytime.
3-Diplomacy, we need diplomats, better espionnage system and world congress. Firaxis needs to stop taking core components of the game apart and sell them back to fans as expansion packs.
