It's got a lot of jank and needs a lot of work for sure, but the design language, artwork and general atmosphere is top notch!

The gameplay loop is currently alright, the water mechanic(as it's currently implemented) isn't punishing at all so anyone worrying about being pressured to play periodically shouldn't feel that way since it's super easy to get and you can have a 99 days stockpile in ~20hrs of game time.

I am really hoping that this game becomes a beacon of hope for the gaming community and delivers on what the devs promised, and frankly it seems like they're committed but only time will tell. Their transparency is excellent and they actively listen to community feedback without compromising on their vision for the game, it's a tightrope act but they seem to manage just fine.

I highly recommend getting the game, even in this janky state it still provides plenty of fun!

As much as I love the game, the fact that I now need to create a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sony account(who have been data breached multiple times in the past) just to play this game is beyond nonsensical, calling it a retarded move would be a disservice towards anyone with an actual disability.

Had my fun in it, enjoyed it, but considering this absolutely ♥♥♥♥ move I can't really recommend it to anyone, move on to the next game that will hopefully treat players right.

EDIT: Looks like the community won and Sony reversed their decision, we can get back delivering managed democracy without the interference of corporate greed.

The current state of the game clearly shows that this game is still very much in "Early Access". The potential is there, and I've personally had quite a lot of fun with it, but after 68 hours the current content is pretty stale, more than half of the functionality promised at launch(or near launch) is still not implemented.

40 Euros for an unfinished game(though this does seem to be the norm in the gaming industry nowadays) is obviously not worth it.

That being said, I personally am still having some fun with it, but I estimate that it will get even more stale than it already is and I'll put it aside once I get to the 80-ish hour mark if no new content will be added by then(highly unlikely).

Excellent fun, albeit a bit slow on the updates from what I understand, still lots of things to do and imagination's the limit.

Tons of fun, that feeling when you get the right item stacks and shred through stage 15 elites like butter is just awesome. Also, the Loader let's you live out your dream of being One Punch Man. Highly recommend this game, great value for the moneyz.

Still a toxic community, still feels like you sometimes get paired with smurfs. Cheaters seem a lot less prevalent than before though, but I am 99% that's due to the relatively recent free to play model implemented(non prime) where the vast majority of cheaters seem to have moved.

It's good for a competitive fps, the mechanics are simple yet hard to master. Would I recommend it though? It's a very soft yes for me, but then again I do take multi-month breaks from the game.

Easy to learn, hard to master, the different modes offer great replayability. Overall worth every penny.

The fact that the DLC has a price tag attached to it is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. But thanks to the modding community this is still very much worth playing.

I recommend getting the base game and just going for modded servers, but I do not, under any circumstance recommend getting the paid DLC, the people behind it definitely don't deserve it considering how long it took them to take the game to a stable state.
