If you are into roguelikes you'll like this but honestly it's extremely basic and WAY too easy in my opinion. Unless the next 3rd difficulty introduces some crazy modifiers it's a no from me dawg.

Game is alright to be free. Overwatch clone of sorts except the characters feel less unique than they do in overwatch somehow? For the love of God though devs, GIVE ME AN OPTION TO LOCK MY CURSOR TO THE GAME WINDOW. Fullscreen doesn't fix it and I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired of my cursor ending up on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ page and pausing my video mid match when I'm trying to throw my ankhs so that I can miss every shot afterwards.

I absolutely love this movie, the game....not so much. If you liked Friday the 13th game, then you will probably enjoy this.

Pros:
-Runs fairly smooth
-wide variety of items
-decent amount of cosmetic items even in early access
-Nostalgia factor hits hard
-No grab/one-hit ability that I've seen like Friday the 13th had.

Cons:
-seems to be P2P based servers and that results in vastly different experiences in latency game to game. One game can be buttery smooth, the next is rubberbanding constantly.
-The Klowns abilities can be attached to other klowns, essentially making certain klowns power houses and others obsolete once they are unlocked.
-The hit registration is super busted and doesn't register nose shots properly.
-Weapon upgrades for Klowns are straight upgrades and over time will create extremely powerful builds for those that have dumped hours upon hours into the game, and at the same time there is no upgrades to human characters at this time, strictly unlocking new classes (different stats but not varied enough to matter) and cosmetics.
-No ability to choose between Klowns and Humans at this time. It's randomized, which honestly may be a good thing for the longevity of the game and queue times but I don't like being forced into a role I don't want to play.
-The matches get super repetitive quickly.
-No controller layout of button rebinding options in the settings.
-No way to adjust which audio input is being used within the game. Forced to use system default.
-Not really the developer's fault but a TON of impatient people that ready up and force a game to start prematurely before a lobby is filled, handicapping the humans more than they typically are.
-By extension of the above, bots that are loaded into your game are literal bots. They have zero game sense and will either run towards a Klown that is firing at them or walk away slowly instead of sprinting.

There's plenty more but those are the major issues I've found. Overall, if you are a fan of Friday the 13th you'll probably enjoy this game for a bit. If you enjoy a "Balanced" asymmetrical game then you may enjoy this for a bit as well but odds are you'll find yourself refunding right before the 2 hour mark like I'm doing. Game will probably grow and the balancing and issues may be corrected but in it's current state I wholeheartedly do not recommend.

The hype was real for this game but it didn't deliver. The gameplay loop is extremely boring. Essentially hide and seek as the stranger until you can get to a window that isn't unlocked. You don't move fast at all which gives each round an inflated sense of "length" but in reality its just that everyone moves slow as molasses. Little to no interaction within the game, other than attempting to open a window or locking one. The other gameplay mechanics just serve to increase the length of time you spend in a match (I'm looking at you pop up ads). Flashlights are useless unless you are the stranger at which point they serve as a beacon towards the survivors (You can't turn them off when the killer is near and they constantly flicker). For a game that was created by a single person in their teens it's pretty good but as an actual enjoyable experience it falls flat and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I don't play any sort of driving game typically. I just find them boring. But this game right here.....hoo boy there is just something about it that is so relaxing and engaging. Even though I'm mindlessly driving from one city to another it keeps me entertained via the in game radio, random traffic patterns, etc. I never in my life thought that I would be thinking about getting off of work so I could come home and play a damn trucking simulator but here we are. Recommended to anyone that just wants to chill and not stress while playing a game once in a while.

No option to change the "interact" keybind. Also no ability to scroll through hotbar, have to use the hotkeys for it. Can't recommend it because this sort of ♥♥♥♥ irritates the piss out of me.

Bought the game, against all the bad reviews. Spent 4 minutes in a queue of 30,000 players with an estimate wait time of 0:00. Not a single change in the number of players in front of me either. Not going to refund just yet but it's not boding well for this game if they can't get their damn servers in order.

Update: Finally logged in today and the queue was 4k players. After a 15 minute wait I got in and was able to finish the tutorial and play a little bit of the game afterwards. Is it fun? Yeah, I guess. Is it doing something different from all the other games that came before it? Not really. I wasn't overwhelmed with the graphics, gameplay (click, block click again and maybe throw in some abilities but they seem underwhelming at best) or the story. I'm going to keep it because it seems like it will be a fun time killer once the servers are able to handle the load (or hell it could just be a time killer trying to log in lulz). Seriously though, definitely not worth the 20 bucks right now between the server queues and just the general gameplay.

Great time killer. The game, on the surface, looks to have a lot of depth but that's all just a facade. There are only a handful of abilities and traits and 2-3 branching paths for each ability to upgrade it. The game gives you access to a few characters after you have finished their unlock conditions but after each unlock I found myself going back to the Archer anyways because it's the only class that ever gets beefy enough to kill quick enough in later levels. It's fun, for a few hours but you can see pretty much every ability the game has to offer within the first 5 hours, tops and then it's just a grind to hopefully get better armor for future runs. Speaking of armor, the system seems lackluster with only 1-2 items being genuinely useful.

If you're a fan of KSP1 this game will scratch that itch. Graphics are VERY pretty. Runs great on my PC. As others have said, it is lacking some features and gamemodes but there has been a roadmap put out and it seems updates are fairly consistent. Would I pay full price for this? Probably not in it's current state, but the 20% off sale that it currently has (1 July 2023) was more than enough to get me to bite and I'm glad I did. The UI updates are a welcome addition and the tutorials are a huge step in the right direction to make the game more accessible to those that didn't really get KSP1 or found it too overwhelming to learn everything themselves.
