Let me start by saying this game is REALLY AMAZING, but before I get into why I left it a thumbs down lets get into why I feel this game was the biggest let down of the decade. Firstly, I feel this game was BEAUTIFUL, as someone who is not a HP fan I fell in love with the game play, the mechanics and just the overall ambiance. The reasons I feel this was a letdown was for all the things they missed. Going to Hogwarts you feel like a visitor more than a student, at first you attend some classes and learn some games, then off you go and hardly ever visit. This game could have added so much from in depth classes, working in potions shop to play ever evolving mini games to make unique potions or working in botany class to learn about different plants and craft or empower your spells. Another thing is they could have doubled down on the class games or working in your house for points. They could have created a whole multiplayer scene where you create an online character and go head to head against other players in different modes to earn points for your house from season to season, the same games they played in the movies, underwater hunting for different items, hide and seek going for dragon eggs, Quidditch or the maze run even though you don't make an MMORPG you could still have an online mode for magic dueling with your friends or other people. The possibilities they missed on this were so painful, I could go on and on about the many many different opportunities missed are so painful. Although there were so many reasons to feel bad the game is still worth the buy to enjoy the story and is still a lot of fun for at least 3/4th of the game.
