Was a great game til sony tried to force it's thingy in us.

I used to love this game, I put nearly 1k hours into it between solo and group play. I've played it for several years and it was one of my favorite games for the way it used to balanced so that every loadout and every team set up was a viable option. Sadly due to their recent balance changes, the most significant of which is reworking an old perk to allow solo players in bounty hunt to revive themselves between 3-5 times. Has effectively ruined the game in my opinion, this feature hasn't ruined it on it's own. I think the balance of new weapons, necessity to carry a ton of fire tools for burning every single player you come across, and some very unbalanced perks all had a hand in the destruction of what used to be an awesome game. But the solo revives are the worst of it, they allow solo players to play with so much longevity and lack of consequences that it really makes the game unbalanced to teams in a significant way. This has introduced an even heavier rat culture into Hunt which i understand is how some people like to play the game, but is a horribly frustrating thing for all players who are not fine with ratting for hours on end. I'm sad to say that I don't think this game will be good again until the devs find a way to balance this or remove it all together.

There is absolutely no game on the market that compares to this, this ♥♥♥♥ will have you so pissed off you'll want to sling your whole rig across the room after getting sniped with a lvl48 character while running through a thicket of trees from 200 meters, then it will have you smiling from ear to ear when you wipe a lobby with a bottom tier rifle and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ machete. A literal rollercoaster of emotions through and through, best bullet mechanics I've played with, wallbanging is actually semi fair, and melee is a actual usable way to run a class. One of the most impressive things about this game is no single weapon is overpowered, they all have their scenarios they're great in and scenarios they are dirty laundry in, it's all about figuring out how to get in your guns winning scenario. Lastly but definitely most importantly the devs, HANDS DOWN the best dev team I've ever seen for a game, they patch exploits quickly, consistently release new content, and from my time playing it has always seemed like they are conscious and response of the player bases requests. Everytime I find myself thinking, "man this needs a new bolt action, or pistol or throwable or just something new, they wind up coming out with some new ♥♥♥♥ quickly after. All around this is my absolute favorite shooter of all time, beats halo, beats ark, and beats cod like it stole something (honestly there is no comparison and the cod devs for the last decade should be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ashamed crytek took a bare bones dev team with way less resources than them dropped this gem right under there noses(♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EMBARASSING)). Thanks for the read and if you're trying to get right out tha in da bayou this is what you want (and it's 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bucks!)
