I have not seen anything I don't like with the game so far. The visuals are beautiful and the dialogue is engaging.

I like this game for it's cartoony art style and Minecraftiness. The blueprints make it easy to create amazing structures in your world. You can create a blueprint to share with others and it's easy for friends to drop in and out of your worlds without needing to have a server up and running on your personal computer or paying for off site servers.

It's cute, similar to Hay Day, but it becomes quickly clear that you will not be able to progress without purchasing diamonds as the amount of money that you can earn by sending out deliveries doesn't keep up with the cost of improving the farm. This alone would have been annoying, but one of the purchase options says that for just under $11 US you get 110 diamonds, in reality, I received 100. Then, while playing on the mobile version, my pony and stable both vanished along with all the crops and the items I was producing in the production buildings. These things appear to have returned on the Steam PC version, but I was still mislead as to how many Diamonds I was purchasing. Hay Day never made me feel like I was hitting a wall that real world money was the only fix for.

Ok, so I owned this on console, but I didn't play it. The last Star Ocean I played lots of was Till the End of Time. The lack of auto saving is quite annoying, but not a killer for me. Though it does mean I can't just pick up and play any old time; I have to have hours to dedicate to playing so that I'm sure to find a save point. I was highly annoyed by the grinding to defeat Barachiel. I enjoy the story in these games, but I want the game play to be fun as well. There was something about the Second Story and Till the End of Time that made the combat not feel so damned annoying. I hate the Bonus Board and BEATS. I set up combos but have yet to see them trigger correctly, and blindsiding is frustrating. The Bonus Board can be "broken" from attacks that are impossible to avoid. I wish all of the other Star Ocean's would get ported to PC, I would enjoy playing them and I never got the opportunity to play the first. That one in particular would be great to see. But, when you port to PC, why oh why is there not a way to close out of the game without "closing the window"? There is no "quit" option that I have found, and I will grant that I may have over looked it. There are some things that should have been addressed when porting this title over that make it not worth recommending to others.

I would love to be able to rate this game....however, I can't get into the game to even play it. What IS a good internet connection. I can stream movies, and tv shows, play mmo's, upload images to goggle drive, chat on discord, but this game....exception error. The only internet available in my area is satellite or mobile networks, no high speed internet. So how come I can play with friends on mmo's but can't play this!!!!!!

Where's the neutral rating.... The game is fun. The saves getting moved and resetting your progress randomly is not. I did finially find a fix.
Go into User/AppDAta/Roaming/Five-BN Games/Mahjong/Steam
There should be a Save folder and another folder, the second folder had my original save data in it.
How do you recommend a buggy game that, when I looked for information on how to fix this, the devs aren't responding to any of the posts.

Early Access Review
My husband and I are leery of Early Access Games and tend to leave them alone. Dungeon Defenders II is doing Early Access the RIGHT way. The game is clearly still in development, but with a player base of people who care and are involved with developers to make it better. There is an easy system in place inside the game to report bugs and incentives to joining their website and taking place in polls regarding game development change potential. I truly look forward to seeing what this game will be in it's final incarnation. We own Dungeon Defenders and all the DLC and this game has stepped up the game to being nearly an mmo. You can choose to play with random other players, there's a social tavern, or you can be antisocial and play privately. Private play doesn't keep you from playing with others, it just allows you to choose who joins your struggle. I do have one comment, that I haven't noticed if is already in place. In the previous game you could store manna because it was used for upgrading items. In this one, at the end of a map, you still pick up more. If you had a method to "store" the gems to convert them to coins, that would be pretty awesome, but would have to be something like 100 manna/ability gems to 1 coin....
Really an awesome tower defense game!

Spent almost an hour and a half in the game and didn't manage to get far. The game camera controls are awful. It is not useful to move the camera using wasd. Once you get over that annoyance, and the time it takes figuring out how to play co-op, be careful. If 2 players each happen to click on different npc's for quests, it will lock up and one person is running around not able to "talk" to anyone because they are "in" a conversation, and the other person, who has NO control over the conversation is looking at a screen telling them to wait for the other player. Whatever you are doing comes to a halt if any player clicks on an npc and is forced to watch the conversation play out, but they have no input to add. Why show conversation options we can't choose!?! Don't waste your money here. If you want a game where you click to move, play Torchlight II.
