Absolutely excellent game!
Bought this game on switch first and enjoyed it so much I bought it on steam too and played the same save between both devices,
PROS
+ Expect campaign to last dozens of hours
+ Colourful and rewarding side-quests which last even more dozens of hours
+ Variety of maps (4), first 2 are massive and you receive warnings before leaving side-quests unfinished
+ Creative ways to map character abilities and traits. Allows you to remap points to try different builds. rewards creativity
+ There's always creative ways to deal with a combat situation. I've never been bored or regretted a combat encounter (unless severely under levelled which changes combat approach entirely)
+ Very well designed UI interface with controller support
+ Decision making isn't gimmicky like most games and the story can totally change based on them
+ Multiplayer
+ excellent sense of humour, the voice actors are great
+ Toggle cheats to either enrich experience even more

Cons
- Game is intimidating once starting, I had to watch an episode or two of a playthough to get the hang of spells and find out to make progress at the start. (Hint: Thievery is very helpful and payoff is worth it especially with spell books at the start)
- I found the back story's and introductions when selecting a character to be a little cringey and put me off a little, but after playing through I realised just how fleshed out they all were.
- I encountered One bug in the game which deleted one of my armour pieces shortly after equipping which really saddened me, I spent hours during side quest for it (Captain Sech Zapor's)
- Can be slow paced at times, prepare to sink a lot of hours in
- Not handholding, some controls I only found out after completing

There's so many layers to this game and I want to start my 3rd playthough when i have the time. If you are considering buying this game do it, you won't regret it Switch or PC.
