Note: I have played Paradox Games since CK2 was released and I have over 500 hours in CK2 and EU4.

I am extremely disappointed by this game and for only a few reasons. The population mechanic is a nice addition and overall the game feels good and the map looks very nice. My biggest issue with the game and the reason why I would not recommend it is because of the war mechanics. The combat isn't too simple in my opinion, I like the basic EU4 dice roll style system (I know I'm alone on that) but it is how peace mechanics work that I despise. Here is a story: I declared war on Phyrgia as Judea and fought them for about 12 years, I had about 50-70% war score for pretty much the entire war, yet they refused to even make a white peace the whole time. How is that even possible? I controlled the war goal completely for almost all of the 12 years yet they still refused! This might seem minor to you but in my eyes war is the most important part of the game, and if I am winning a war with more than 50% war score for 12 years I expect the AI to want more than a white peace! Until this changes I don't want to play the game because it makes playing as small nations attacking big nations not fun and pointless.

This is one of my favorite games on pc, its for every gamer out there.
