If you're an old time fan of the game series and feel like buying the games again, then go for it. I've been having fun replaying the campaigns.

If you are thinking about buying this game for the online mode: DO NOT.
Rockstar can wipe your account for no reason. I was a 100% legitimate player. I woke up one day and I had an email claiming that violated their terms. I have thought of what I could have possibly done over that last week since coming back after 2 years away, and I cannot think of anything. Of the over 4000 hours I have put in this game, at least 90% of which was the online. I reached well over level 800 an amassed quite the collection of cars, businesses, and everything else the game had to offer, LEGITIMATELY. Over 4 years of work. Gone. I hope GTA 6 fails.
