Wrath of the Righteous, an incredibly buggy masterpiece.

To be fair I'm not even through with the game and I feel like it needs to be said, its amazing. The story is gripping, characters feel, for the most part, truly great and make player love to engage with them. The design is cool, animations are decent, locations look lovely and, my personal favourite you can play as a FREAKING LICH. Despite it being a lot for a new player, not to the genre itself, but to the pathfinder at least, to take in. I can see how hopping in would make someone very confused, hell I'm getting confused quite often myself, or realising too late I'm not doing things optimally. However once you start getting the hang of it, oh boy does it feel so satisfying to play.

Here comes the however. The game, might be my copy but we shall never know, is *incredibly* buggy, its not even funny at this point. I'm not saying you will encounter something bugged in every room, but...you know....not far from it.

Enemies not taking damage despite the numbers popping up and them having no abilities to resist/mitigate it? You betcha.

Mouse just...realm warping across the screen causing your char to move randomly? You got it.

Spells getting stuck, so your character WILL cast them after every rest without the option to switch to normal attacks? Well of course we got that.

Clicking on an enemy, but dragging your mouse away too quickly? Well shame there pal, you just attacked someone else.

The known ones like "on the cusp of the abyss" aren't even worth mentioning, just...hope you are lucky.
Outside of bugs there are barely things to complain about in my opinion. I can see the 3rd act being rather divisive, plus if you want to avoid ruining your fun, for the love of all you hold dear avoid Blackwater clan location. I'm not entirely sure what the people designing that part of the game were on, but it must have been something from the abyss itself.

BUT, despite all of that, every single flaw, is it a game worth your time and money? Without a question, yes. You will hardly find something so amazing, so close to the tabletop experience. So, have fun crusaders.
