Update 2/16/24 - My save file is completely bugged now... Can't do anything really, game keeps freezing and crashing. Whatever they updated corrupted my save file and made it unplayable. Fix this ♥♥♥♥ you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Jabronis

Love this game, it has it's issues but it's great for a sandbox to play around and get lost in for a while. I spend most of my credits on ship building, it has a pretty decent builder but not enough flight to utilize it really. But as a sandbox it does a lot of things really well. Offers a lot of content compared to a lot of games.

The story missions are pretty lame and I've still not finished them, mostly just "go here listen to this ♥♥♥♥ click this ♥♥♥♥ get that load this screen" then do it again. But if you want to explore and f ♥♥♥♥ up and hi jack ships and steal their ♥♥♥♥ and kill their children, then u can do that.

The combat could be better, and some of the UI and menus aren't great but they're actually pretty decent for what the game needs. But all in all it's a beautiful game filled with awesome art and renders. This is my first Bethesda game so I'm impressed by all the small things they did. The gravity on the planets, the music and the several moons and rising stars over the horizons on different planets as u fight aliens and look for resources to mine. It has really good atmosphere at times.

It's not perfect but it's pretty good, must have for space heads.

3/17/2023 - free to play weekend, played some multiplayer, still feels mostly like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, stay away

I got a 5 minute ban because the server crashed lmao, wat.

Decent feeling game so far, casual is unbalanced as hell but it's fun to play.

Been playing the same since it's release, it has been ignored by the developers, they've dragged their feet, and the game has constantly, always, and still to this day, runs amok with cheaters. It's been 7 years and these useless people at valve haven't done anything to mitigate cheating other than try and milk them for every dollar they were worth. Once the game went free to play it was pretty much considered dead. Sold off the inventory.

It's a good game for squadding with friends for fun but if you want good competitive play without cheaters, you need a third party app like ESEA. Which is unfortunate. This game was great in it's early stages. Skins and cheaters ruined it.

10 years later, still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Ran around for 5 minutes, runescape level graphics, neopets movement, no weapons found. Zombies still glitch through walls.

I could make a better game with my ♥♥♥♥ and balls, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
