I rarely write a review unless a game to me is truly beautiful. I am not finished yet. But in terms of game play this game is a walking simulator there isn't much to it on the surface. But take the time to read the details, the notes, listen to the narrator and it becomes this really deep compelling narrative that touches upon a lot of aspects of being human and what its like to display your work to others when it feels as though you have expectations of who you are supposed to be and what you're supposed to be doing. I highly recommend, for this reason the deeper undertones and ideas are beautiful to say the least

This game is single handedly the reason I broke my computer and all of my windows in my home as well as the reason i decided to fix my computer and worry about the rest of it later. The game is so incredibly frustrating and anger-inducing, you can't help but love it. The main character is amazing and he doesn't say a word. The soundtrack is absolutely incredible, I could listen to it for hours. Words cannot explain how beautiful Hollow Knight is. You will be frustrated and annoyed every 20 minutes minimum. The bosses are torturous and hard. But regardless you will find yourself wanting to come back to the Hollownest. I have never had a game frustrate me so much but also have me not want to ever put it down. I don't care who you are but if you enjoy any games BUY HOLLOW KNIGHT ALREADY!
