Its lots of fun

Creates Holy Roman Empire. Established an Anti-Pope. uses massive military to overthrow the current pope and make my anti-pope the real pope. Few years later I get a notification saying that the pope is a terribly sinful person. I don't care because he likes me and gave me claims. Pope dies, new pope puts the former pope's corpse on trial. Corpse is found guilty of sinful crimes.
666/10 would elect devil pope again.

This is not "fun" Nor even a game really. What it is, is a look into the life of a depressed man who could be almost anyone, and it's the players job of directing there life. Havin suffered from depression from various things in the past i can relate to some of these things and playing brings back distant memories of those bad feelings. The story and dialogue are amazing and can be very absorbing. Overall though the game is not like most other games. The final boss isnt an actual thing that can be seen and fought physicaly, it is the main characters emotions. Even before you go into this you should know there are only 2 true ways this can turn out if you know anything about clinical depression. The game feels real and relateable as you are tasked with guiding this man to a beter life or down the spiral of darkness he curenty rests in. This game doesnt have any replayability (unless you feel like going through the same situations but with different actions). But still deserves a play, weather you want something storybased and sadening, or you're perhaps someone who can relate to the concept. It's not very long and shouldnt take more than 10 minutes to instal and an hour to experience

TLF Is a decent enough game with a vast amount of options to chose from and an endless amount of conclusions to said options. Its hard as are all rogue likes but the various charts and statistics make it more reminant of older rogue likes than more recent ones like FTL. The turnbased combat system is fun and requires some skill (however my first playthrough it actually was broken). I wouldnt recomend it to someone who is looking for something straitforward and simple but rouge like enjoyers will find pleasure in this game
