By the time you've got the general gist of things, the return time will have elapsed. So, save yourself the trouble and wait for a massive sale - if you still want to play this incredibly dull and disappointing game.

Unpolished, awful voice acting, boring combat and terrible animations ... I couldn't get past the intro, it was just ... diabolical. I really wanted this game to be good, I got excited for this game, but I just cannot for the life of me find the will to seek any enjoyment out of it.

Simply the best Tales of game to ever have been released. The continuity with Zesteria made the lore more enriching, much alike that with Phantasia and Symphonia, but with a dynamic shift that highlights both the best and worst of humanity without resorting to the cliche good over evil, it focused on idealogy, which in itself is far more relatable than the stories of its predecessors. Phantasia puts it that "If there is truly evil in this world, it lies in the hearts of man", Berseria sings 'Have a little faith in me' (rather than me, its humanity). Great story and fun combat.

Just not very engaging, controls are rigid and the perspective seems ridiculously close to the ground. The game looked promising, but I just cannot recommend it.

Not enough content, along with that what it does introduce should have been in the base game in the first place. Paradox and CO milking their fans again...

Not dynamic seasons, permafrost cities ... only affects snowfall map themes, does nothing to base themes, save for enabling you to buy heating for your cims... oh, and measures heating usage ... and temperatures? Not worth it.

The Technomancer follows the tale of one Zacharia Rogue Mancer, a commoner of the Martian enclosed and partially underground city-state of Abundance, ruled by the only mentioned in passing Dowsers, the ASC (an acronym, which, as far as I'm aware, is never mentioned once throughout the story) and his subsequent ascension through the ranks of the tehcnomancers, the army and his circumstantially just/unjust exile as an enemy of state, all the while looking to re-engage contact with Earth.

The story occurs in parallel to the events of the studios previous work, Mars: War Logs, carrying similar themes as its predecessor, however greatly expanded upon, but obscures some of the finer details of the lore and non-player characters - it most certainly has its share of flaws, such as some general story flow issues, repeated reuse of the same dungeon-esque maps, occasionally stale voice acting and animation, yet behind all that there lies a truly wonderful and enjoyable RPG.

Like oldschool games of the past, expect no DLC with this game, an oddity in the modern day, this game is complete. (Got to respect those who don't milk us poor, consumer cows.) This is not to say the story cannot be expanded upon, quite the opposite, this world is begging to be fleshed out. In particular, the ending was thought provoking, and I thoroughly look forward to any successor game from this studio, moreso though for a continuation of the Martian cyberpunk world! Wholeheartedly recommend for any fan of RPGs.

A brilliantly literal isometric game, alluding to the transitional dark ages of the bronze to iron ages, where ones power is determined by reputation, where choice delineates actions and magic is both accessible and empowering. A quasi-historical, sociological experiment which marries the best of Paradox (Crusader Kings) and Obsidian (the successor to Black Isle Studio, creators of Fallout New Vegas, Pillars of eternity and the grandeur of the Forgotten Realms series). While not wholly conclusive in the ending of the game, it opens itself to the prospect of DLC or a sequel, of which I thoroughly look forward to playing, and already has tremendous replay value. A must have for any CRPG fan.

An emotional, painfully good game revolving around the coming of age of a young protaganist named Max Caulfield, though ultimately an excercise in futility, the narrative is enticing and engaging. Life is indeed strange, and unfortunately, there is no truly happy ending to this game, but despite this, it is one of the most powerful and memorable games I have ever had the honour of playing. Dontnod did an amazing job here, and everyone should experience this heart wrenching tale.
