40 centuries ago, our great father brought forth to these great Universes', a new empire, concieved in freedom and dedicated that all MEN are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great war against the Xenos, testing whether this race or any race, so concieved and so dedicated to purge the unclean, can long endure under the Emperor. We are met on a great Planet of that War, as a final resting place to those great men who served under the Emperor so that He may live. It is altogether fitting and Proper to do this for them.

But, in a larger sense, we can not worship--we cannot consecrate-- we can not purge-- this ground. The brave men serving under the Emperor, living or dead, who have struggled here on this planet, have tried and done, far above our great power to add or detract the Chaos. The Emperor shall little note, nor long remeber what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to worship to the Emperor rather than to live for yourself and complete the unfinished work they couldn't do for which they fought for the Emperor so nobly advanced.

It is rather for us to be here dedicated to Him and the great task remaing before us -- taht from these honored guard of the Emperor we take increased devotion -- that we here highly resolve the Xenos that caused these dead shall not have died in vein-- that this nation, under the Emperor, shall have a new birth of freedom from his eternal slumber -- and that the goverment under Him, by Him, for the Emperor, shall not perish from this great Eternal Life.
