I really enjoy the colors and design of the rival tech guns. i find the armor color to be quite weak though, dont really like brown patched except on my aussie gunslinger scout cosmetic. the weapons are def the main part of this set, the colors of the neon lights often fit amazing with most sets and let you highlight your guns without the super bright lights of the normal neon weapons.

Gave the game a long hard try, but unfortunately this game runs into issues i see with a lot of mods of it's type. The best way i can describe it is with the idea of two different types of game design. On one end you give people a sandbox where they can create any type of structure or thing they want out of sand. On the other end you have a 10.000 piece puzzle box. I would say all games use bits of this in their construction.

Unfortunately Black Reliquary is way more of a puzzle box than it is a sandbox. In basegame dargest dungeon you have 18 heros you can mix and match in many varieties. Black Reliquary has even more heros, including extra modded classes and you might think oh this means you have more variety in group building? This is false, regions in BR require hyper specific counters to enemies in their regions and if you pick the correct characters the regions become a breeze.

Lets take the exterior as a example, (spoilers ahead) it has multiple heavy hitting enemies with a high critical hit chance. The way to beat the exterior is to bring multiple debuff characters that lower the enemies damage output so their crit chance is lowered to 0 and their damage is halved. Once you figure this out and put a Hexxer on your team it becomes commically easy. I would say as a whole, the enemies in BR are way to complicated, there is no bone rabble in BR. Every enemey has some kind of extra mechanic that adds needless complexity and clutter. For example the stress dealer in amber tunnels, stresses, marks, diseases and causes a debuff that lowers accuracy. Now imagine every enemy in DD does these many things.

The mod also becomes a bit of a slog when it comes to combat, they have decided to make debuffs more important, and to help with that they have added a "set up" round. which means normal attacks have half accuracy, but specific abilities have no debuff, like heals and marks. This leads to combats being much longer than normal DD

I could go on, but it essentially boils down to one thing i can feel from the design. and that is that you are not allowed to play the way you want, you need to play the way WE want you to play. Use our debuffs, stop using stuns and marks (both of those got heavily nerfed) and play characters we specifically designed for each region.

It's a real shame as the graphics are great, and i really liked the enemy design, but it's brought down by poor understanding of what makes a game fun, letting players figure out their own strategies to solve the puzzles put forth by the game designer, instead of creating answers that players need to guess at.

If you like darksouls you will like this game, However i do get a bunch of stuttering which is a real shame

fun game. difficult to get into but the controls are fair. take your time as a new player and press spacebar! in the options you can make the zoom a toggle which is very helpful.

Really broken on release and it's still broken. the powercreep of monuments is insane and they all cost the same. Some serious balance changes are neede to be done for consolidatiing dev and monuments.

Good game. priecy DLC however, i would recommend buying the subscription for the dlc if you are new to try it out. it would take you 3 years of paying 5 euro a month to get close to having the same price for buying the dlc.

Fun game with tons of complexity. Definetly not for everyone however.
