In light of recent events, I highly recommend this game for future Helldivers. With such a strong community voicing their displeasure against Sony's mandatory PSN account linking as well as whatever magic the Arrowhead Studio developers used, these changes have been reverted for the most part. I do not know if the game is available for purchase again in regions and countries effected, but I hope that issue is resolved as well.

The game in my opinion is fantastic, and it stays true to being a live service game. My only concern is how the community managers in the Helldivers official Discord responded. I believe that their intentions were to protect the developers from backlash, but things instead escalated as the situation developed. In that regard, I hope communication between the players and the moderators become healthier in the future.
