This is a great game on its own - excellent controls and good design. But the multiplayer adds an entirely new dimension. It's a great way to just hang out with friends and share a space.

Without a doubt the best VR game I've ever played. It engages kinesthetic intelligence like no other. The slicing mechanics are polished to a mirror shine. It just feels so good to play. Try it, you won't regret it.

If Nitronic Rush was Narbacular Drop, then this is Portal... 2.

Everything about Nitronic Rush has been given a staggering upgrade. The controls are dialed-in just right, the level layouts have very obviously been playtested extensively. I've played the game for less than two hours and completed most of the currently standing content. Now this isn't a bad thing, I spent a huge amount of time playing Nitronic Rush, so that counts as experience. The new player will not be able to breeze through what's there anywhere near as quickly. And on top of that, the game is still in beta so there's clearly lots more planned. There are still a few minor things that need polish/explanation, mostly on the UI side of things. But the game underneath is absolutely incredible.

Missing out on this game is doing yourself a disservice. Don't make that mistake.

This game has the same magic that catapaulted the classic Sonic games to fame. The characters feel like extensions of you - not an avatar that you are manipulating. Slopes let you catapault to soaring heights, and you can blast through a stage once you learn it. If you're like me and have been waiting since 1994 for an honest successor to those games, your wait is over. It easily rivals Sonic 3 and Knuckles as one of the greatest platform games ever made. You don't need to wait for this one to go on sale - it is worth far more than its launch price.

This isn't to say that it is a Sonic clone - in some ways it is, but in other ways it is completely unique. The parts of the game that could qualify as 'sonic cloning' are cloned so well that the brilliance of the originals shine through. All of the parts that are unique are thoughtfully designed and fit in with the whole.

As a fellow game developer, my only critique is that I would tweak the checkpoint system a little bit. There were many times where a checkpoint would occur just a little bit too early before a boss fight or other notable encounter, which would slow me down when I wanted to just get back into the action. I'd make it abit more like Nitronic Rush or Super Meat Boy with the 'immediately back in the action' principle. Still, this is a trivial issue and doesn't detract from the experience at all.

Bleed is a very intense, fast-paced 2d action shooter. It is immediately engaging and the acrobatic characters quickly feel like extensions of yourself as opposed to avatars that you are controlling. The game makes no bones about being difficult, but it doesn't punish you too harshly for failure, you are momentarily taken out of the action and then dropped right back in. Distance between checkpoints is perfect.

If you love a pulse-pounding, action-packed video game, it is in your interest to pick up Bleed as soon as possible!

Sonic Adventure 2 finally gets its deserved port to the PC platform. It's a fast-paced action platformer that expands on the gameplay of it's prequel. It isn't the most polished game out there and it is definitely showing its age, as it was an early 2000's title. If you like timed challenges, love racing the clock and enjoy spatial dynamics in a game then Sonic Adventure 2 is great for you. Players who prefer more abstract gameplay, dislike challenges involving physics and moving objects, or otherwise have a low affinity for platform games will not enjoy this title as much.

The port itself is a mixed bag. It supports high resolutions and the 360 controller, both of which make playing on PC a better experience. On the other hand, there are issues involving loading as the game will sometimes refuse to load if certain programs are running like flux and rainlendar (anything that uses rendered overlays). The launcher is also poorly designed.

This game is incredible. I've been playing it for a few hours and everything is well polished. The script is humorous and extremely clever. It has aged extremely well and I would recommend it to anyone who likes these kind of games.

One of the most finely engineered gameplay experiences ever produced. Just marvelous in every way.
