Sonic Team tried something incredibly ambitious, and aside from a handful of UX quirks in the first hour or so, they knocked it out of the park. It's great. Don't sleep on this one, seriously.

It feels weird at first. Spend the time to adapt, once you do the haptics and ergonomics are a game changer. I love my Steam Controller and won't ever look back.

I haven't had this much fun in years, this game is freaking amazing!

The special stages were a major surprise for me. They're so good they could stand to be their own mini-game. I found myself wishing that Time Attack mode would let you just play those, but alas, it is not to be (yet)

After such a long dry spell of frankly abysmal Sonic games, I'm hopeful for the future. This should absolutely be the main direction Sonic takes from here on out. I want more!

Super easy to learn and very functional for entry-level 3d modeling software. This is exactly the kind of thing the world needs so that the masses can start accliamating to thinking and creating in 3d. Count me impressed.

First things first: Considering how small the VR market is right now, it's a miracle this got made at all.

This game makes good use of the Job Sim tech, providing rich interactions. The object crafting tool is a thing of gamedev nightmares and I was pleasantly surprised with how many cases it covered. In general, the objects all interact in varied and intereting ways with themselves, other objects, you and the gameworld. The shaders are a wonder to behold if you know anything about graphics programming. In general, this is an extremely polished piece of software, I was running slightly below min spec and got smooth results nearly all the time.

The content is densely packed fanservice. Lots of shout outs and references to things from the show. Any fan will immediately feel at home in the universe. There's even a canon story addition that you'll have to play to find out. The game makes heavy use of universe-jumping, existential pain, and humor, just like you'd expect.

The Job Sim formula wisely trades in linear gameplay time for richness of interaction, and it works especially well here. Not everyone values this setup, but if you go into the experience knowing this you can plan accordingly. Take your time. Explore the environment. This game isn't meant to be speedrun.

Definitely worth the price of admission for me.

My first playthrough of the campaign took an hour. That might sound like a bad thing, but it's not. The original Portal was short too - because only the absolute best quality gameplay was included. No filler, no wasting your time. It's the same here. Every second of gameplay is lovingly crafted, with excellent attention to detail. It's utterly beautiful how well this game sucks you into the flow state and keeps you there.

The technical execution of this game is much improved over the original Bleed. The sprites are prettier, the sound is fuller, the entire game is just jucier - it's a real treat to play. The mechanical aspects of the game are an improvement as well. I won't go into that part as not to spoil it, but there are some really clever things done that take the Bleed paradigm to a whole new level.

On top of that, the game doesn't really end at the end of the campaign. With an action game like this the real name of the game is mastery through replay. Changing the difficulty vastly changes the game, and I will be re-playing the heck out of it, honing my skills each time, and trying to unlock all the things. I don't actually know how high the skill ceiling is for this game, but I'm gonna try to find out.

I implore you to try it. You won't be disappointed.

Remember when Google Maps first came out and we all joked about flying down to our houses and how cool it would be?

It's like that, but way cooler than I had ever imagined.

The design is superb. The tutorial easy to follow. This thing exudes good UI and UX and quite frankly, is just really freaking cool. The way the vignetting effect fades out to a floor grid is a downright genius way of combining two comfort tricks at once.
