Great game, nice story, nice characters, great implementation of a d20 system, many classes to choose from, and the game allows for any chosen class to work nicely on on all but the unfair difficulty, many combats, big dungeons, and very challenging (which is quite rare in this genre), a must have for any TB/RTwP RPG player!

Also many quality of life options to tune the difficulty of the game to your style, a little more and it would be perfect.

The only flaws i have identified so far is that the difficulty and some combats could have been better designed, to allow for more improvisation, rather than full knowledge of the fight, on much higher difficulties.

Best game of the franchise. Factions fighting each other, sector disputes, awesome economy impact, aaand awesome space battles!!

Great visuals and music, nice mechanics, very distinct gameplay styles.

The AI is kinda shallow, diplomacy has 0 "politics", it is a very easy game even in the hardest seting.

A great addition to the genre, but lacks challenge.

I am changing my review from not recommended to recommended.

I might have been too hasty to not recommend this game after a very frustrating momment. Still i wish i could just pick a neutral option.

With friends this game is interesting.

The good:
- Very diverse and interesting class system.
- Low hardware requirements.

The bad:
- Ingame economy is an anomaly on itself, items are in constant deflation, but basic items for simple upgrades are always too expensive, and high grade gear is mostly inaccessible.
- Very expensive currency. I am from south america, so currency is a complicated matter.
- Very limited endgame content.
- Too many rng systems, feels like gambling endlessly.
- Equipment improvement systems are clumsy, bloated and confusing. Information about them are hard to come by.
- Very large gap between gear tiers.

581 hours of gameplay... i tried hard to like this game...
Just rage quit from it. The game has potential, but i have lost my patience with it.

The good:

Great game, great soda!

This game is fun, and even more fun when played with friends (local co-op)!! 1 player for each "limb"... its too much fun, really

However it is very short (really very short), and since i dont see any new chapters incoming, i can't recomend this game, unless it is on sale.

I was expecting an enhancement from 2013, but i felt the game is more like a retrocess from 2013, also wizzard doesn't seem to get mtg digital games into evolving, as it is the same from the previous games, with different cards, lacking features from previous versions.

The campaing is very short, u have very few decks on main game (since u cant make your own deck, at least provide a large variety of premade decks), and dispointing.

Sealed campaing is a gimmick, revenge is a gimmick, there is very litle support for intense full of card duels (u can't get ridden of phase timer, and card overlap causes a nightmare).

DLCs are bad too, and exp have very few decks.

Ignore the metacrit, its from game launch.

Totally worth space empire builder game.

Great soundtrack, good visuals (in space), great replay value, guaranteed long hours of gameplay.
