I find this game VERY fun and challenging. Vivid and involving, the experience is so smooth and detailed that the 2014 release date is surprising, if not shocking.
If one must, comparing Endless Legend to Civilization does a disservice to both, they play (and sell) very differently. For one, 'Endless' is no lie, as the feeling of a countdown timer can be somewhat opted out in this sim. I would also say that the different 'nations' and minor factions are more diverse in this one.
Anywho, try this game if you get the chance and take the time to find it's gold.

Nothing about this game is very pleasing. Inputs, options, appearance, ability, quality, and attention to detail never crossed the developers' collective half of a single interested creator. I had to laugh that I paid for this fair and square.
