Amazing

By far the worst iteration of the series yet. For many years now the gameplay has clearly taken a back seat in priority to ultimate team (which is just a cash grab for children with gambling addictions using their parents' credit cards). But this year they truly gave no attention to actual gameplay. It's riddled with basic core gameplay and performance issues, which is tough to say because I thought last year's fifa was bad too. This year is so much worse. Beyond that career mode is also awful. The people that make this game are completely incompetent in every significant aspect.

Without server capacity issues the game would be overwhelming positive.

Give us a real ending, Ron. It takes forever to confront LeChuck. Please, why didn't you learn from Thimbleweed?

Basically a clone of last year. All the same problems as last year as well. The weakest aspect of the game is passing. It is unable to tell where you want the ball to go 20% of the time. Also, career mode sucks and AI is god awful. Keep in mind hyper motion tech is a gimmick as they only used two real full matches to train the hyper motion model, which is hardly anything to go off of.

Missing core features for pc that are still advertised as being in the game that are instead available on the xbox (the new hyper motion technology). That alone makes me unable to recommend the game due to scummy marketing practices.

Progression for create your own pro is a joke, and it caps out very quickly without you having to work towards making your pro good. Once you are capped you are also unable to be very proficient in other skills that you work towards, such as free kicks or penalties.

Career mode had potential this year, but it still sucks. The career objectives are basically forced and usually detrimental to your own squad building decisions, and it is riddled with bugs. Player ratings still don't take into account the player's play time, so subbing can punish the development of your players. Youth players progress at the same pace as everyone else. A better system would be them progressing at a much higher rate when young, and lower as they get older, but instead it entirely revolves around a steady pace until they hit their potential rating.

Unfortunately, EA only cares about FUT, which is a cash grab that I wish didn't even exist because it means EA can make a ton of money off people's addiction to gambling (basically loot boxes) each year without actually putting effort into making the game good.

Like Splitgate but without portals 10/10

Only wish it were longer.

Can be frustrating at times, but it rewards learning the mechanics of the game and there is just so much packed into this game beyond just the main boss itself. Tons of replay-ability because of this. Progressing really feels like an accomplishment.

On the downside the first biome (the dwelling) can often be the most frustrating. Some rng can screw you, and it feels like the procedural generation could really improve in this first area especially.
