Not as incredible as what the reviews' sayíng, but still, it worths your time reading

Whatever it is, it reminds me of something: U Play, Play U

I bought this game on sale, because all these recommendations.

First thing first, I'm a fan of The Lord of the Rings series, and I like magic fantacy open world setting, so I thought I would like this game.

However, there's a big capitalized "BUT" following. All this game provides is killing orcs after orcs, learning skills and then keeping on killing orcs. I hate when there's few characters I can interact with, and that's why I can't enjoy Borderlands series, but this title is even worse. I can at least play Borderlands for its storyline, but it seems that I can conclude the story of Shadow of Morder after playing only 10 minutes: Kill Orcs, not to mention that this game borrows the world setting from The Lord of the Rings but the story has nothing to do with it.

Or maybe this game is great in some aspects and I'm not the guy to enjoy it. Anyway I think the current rating is far too high for this piece.

After playing it for about 10 hours, I understand that the point in this game is kill kill kill, which it actually did very well.

The game sets a simple goal to conquer, and the character grows stronger and stronger during the process. It's a great pleasure just wandering around the map and find captains to hunt. Seeing enemy captains fall one by one is a great joy and a great pride which push me to do more of that. The character is quite capable at climbing and parkour so there is no need to find "ways" to destinations, which saves quite amount of time for killing captians.

The side missions are actually more rewarding than the main missions. Challenge missions are quite interesting to do, and they all provide some kinds of Xp and equipments which highly relate to the strength of the character and his skills.The collectables are fun and rewarding as well. Quite easy to collect, the collectables also provide background info and Xp which will largely enhance the gameplay experience. Frankly speaking, this is the first game that I would like to put time into collectables.

Definitely would recommend this game to AC fans and open world fans.
