Has potential, but not enough content. Essentially, you play a match, get bored of Darktide, then decide to do something else.

It's the same gameplay loop with not much difference between mission types, progression is a chore, it promises ranged combat but feels severely lacking. You basically go around doing the same thing every single time and it pretty much works, unless the game decides to spam you with elite units in a really small room in an attempt for "difficult" gameplay.

The weapon meta just feels incredibly set in stone at times. The guns feel unique at first, but then it feels incredibly hollow once you get the bolter, heavy stubber, flamer, etc. Then you just never quite look back at anything else. Trying to shoot things with ironsights when ranged mobs have impeccable accuracy can be frustrating at times, along with the myriad of effects the game throws at you while trying to line up the shot, especially against snipers. You do eventually get used to it, but it still ticks. It would be nice to have a simple sight attachment available, where applicable of course. The lasgun though feels great, not because it has a sight, but because it feels like a genuine lasgun.

Game optimization is pretty bad. The lobby, probably due to how obnoxiously detailed it is, chugs more then the actual gameplay itself and feels abhorrently unnecessary. Even if you could run Darktide on max settings, you'll probably lower it down anyway. While I haven't had as many crash/disconnection issues, many friends have and I can definitely feel their frustration.
