fun little Colony management survival worth the price. A little rough around the edges, but nothing that is gamebreaking or very annoying. If your into the art style and games like Rimworld, Banished and so on, give it a try.

Absolutely recommended! My confidence regarding this game was huge, but i had my doubts when reading the reviews. So i played it myself and what can i say? Yes it has it’s technical issues and some weird Control decisions. So far i only had one crash and skipped the starting cutscene accidentally by turning down volume.

BUT, the gunplay feels natural and the shots have a certain punch to it. Effectwise it’s okay, nothing spectacular, but a definitive upgrade of it’s predecessor. The UI is, although optimised for controller, modern and intuitive. Regarding the Warbonds aka Battlepass: at a first glance i was turned off by the thought of a battlepass, but they managed to implement a different kind of battlepass sucessfully, which feels rewarding and not too grindy. You can select Unlocks via a catalogue system and even choose what you want to unlock first.

So despite it’s issues on day 1 (i mean look at cyberpunk) they created a solid game which is already in a very enjoyable state and will only get better with time.

This game is one of the saddest stories regarding games i recently read about. Game itself is very good, haven't had so much fun in a top-down tactical shooter for a long time - I am only 30 minutes in, played the tutorial and 2 missions and i'm (sadly) already on 11% completion (missions took about 5-10 minutes if you don't count losses and rush like me to get a grasp of what the game has to offer). So it is very short content wise and the sad thing is knowing that the developer has "finished" his project some time ago (11th of Aug), so any of the missing things, like simple bugfixes for placing camera under doors (looking at the tutorial), teammates crawling like possesed by a demon while being down or just a little bit more of content - all of these things make me kinda sad while playing this jewel of a game, because you know it will be over...sooner than later and there won't be anything changed about it, cause playerbase is shrinking, because devs just left with a 3/4 quarter baked product - don't get me wrong, it is playing like a full release, but there are these 10 - 20% missing overall (gameplay, bugs, content) to really scratch the itch and be perfect. Let's hope modders will make a few changes which increase the lifetime of it. Bummer the devs don't added some kind of procedural mission generator, which would make this endlessly playable.

Mutliplayer lobbies look *mostly* empty, but i'm sure if you just host a game people will join. there's pvp, which i haven't tried out and also co-op.

Oh and there's very nice character customization which isn't cosmetic only, but gives you an (dis-)advantage in speed, protection and carryweight.

All in all at the current price of 12 €/$ (sale!) is more than justified for the current state, but it just makes you think: oh my god i would even pay the triple if devs would come back to finish what they started in a fashioned way. And not like they did:"ah here are a few guns, a few fixes and have a great time with our product, we move on." - read the last devblog yourself :(

Still recommending, because if you overlook the whole "abandoneware" thing it's a solid game in which you can sink a few hours, alone or with friends, which is okayish when you think about paying the same for a pizza which gives about 10 - 20 minutes of enjoyment... depending how fast you munch. Do it like me, buy it, set a timer to 2 hours and if you're not intrigued after your first mission, just refund - although i won't do the refund part i think.
