There's no telling where one should begin when it comes to reviewing a game like Kenshi. At the start of it, the game is quite intimidating and hardly accessible friendly. But if one sticks to it, largely through trial and error, they're likely to make a breakthrough and scrape off the dust upon this gem.

The game itself plays like a sandbox RPG, with multiple starting points to choose from. The combat, while slow to master, can be rather rewarding once you've gotten the hang of it mechanically. The graphics are a mixed bag, sometimes it's beautiful, but sometimes the engine the game's running under shows its age. There's also modding support, which is still going on to this day, and that goes to show the community's support behind this game.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend the game, despite that it won't be particularly fun within the first ten to twenty minutes. All the player has to do is stick with it beyond that, experiment, and keep /trying/.
