This review was made after 7 hours of playing, and getting through 1 dungeon and exploring an "outpost", the game is surprisingly spacious with large landmarks and buildings.

The game is very fun and reminds me of all the things I love about video games, the only thing I have a personal issue with is attaching points to poles from jumping variability, and wall climbing. It's mostly just being unfamiliar with the engine and mechanics but there's just small learning curve things that just kind of annoy me as opposed to make me think I can or cannot do a puzzle.

Overall - 9/10

Gameplay: 7/10 - could use just a little bit of more objectives/battles between dungeons. Pots don't really drop anything currently. Some of the poles you grapple with in one of the "dungeons" or "towers" I went through made it so you were able just walk through walls if it was on a slant creating some minor wall glitching, it didn't really break the game or anything, just a bug.

Controls: 8/10 - for all the crap I give in the top end, the controls are really fluid and enjoyable but require some adjustments to get used to.

Combat: 7/10 - very simple, almost a bit too simple unless you're fighting the collectible fish which are a bit too far apart to add more consistent combat challenges. The combat systems are all in place and ready to be explored, but currently it's a bit empty or open at the moment.

Thematics: 10/10 - I love the entirety of the style, the vision, the ideas and creativity, and everything about the inspirations as well as the execution, they knocked it out of the park with the thematics.

Art: 9/10 - the art is a very retro, large/low polygon count inspired fidelity graphical style, the textures are actually really enjoyable to look at and they don't overload my brain, it's very clear and easy to understand what something is, and the color choices as well as the thematics are absolutely knocked out of the park.

Music: 10/10 - I love the music even if I'm not much of an audiophile, the music is really enjoyable and adds a lot of atmosphere and sets the moods for a lot of the big places, as well as the open sand fields. It's heavily inspired by the legend of Zelda and has a bit of that old school tinny static that just kind of makes me feel the nostalgia of being in front of an old TV again playing games as a child.

Story: ?/10 - it really doesn't seem to have a clear motivation or story from what I can tell right now, but I believe it's currently only a demo and that's completely expected.

Collectibles: 8/10 - there's a lot to collect in the demo, which means there's probably going to be even more to collect in the full game and to cash in for things at the end, I'm super excited to see what's added in the future.

Bugs: 8/10 - there were hardly any bugs or bad code, but there was some unintended reactions that you could either force or accidentally run into if you don't have a good control of your character or you purposefully recreate those reactions.

Fun: 10/10 - I'm overall enjoying the game so much that I feel like I'm actually playing video games again, I was kind of just meandering around games for about 8 or so years now, playing big games like Apex, Overwatch, and hopping back to play things like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Darksiders 1-3, as well as deep diving to find shadow the colossus content, or even a fan remake, this game has instantly and consistently brought a smile and joy to my face, along with frustration and explosions of joy after getting over that frustration. It is truly an enjoyable game with both challenges, and a healthy balance of achievement to those challenges.

Price: Free demo/prologue, can't get much better than free.

I can't believe I have to change my review AGAIN, because of PlayStation. It would take more money to make these crappy decisions for this company than to actually just be a good publisher allowing people to play the game across the world, IT'S LITERALLY the only thing PlayStation has to do, and SOMEHOW they mess it up.

Can't play. Won't play. EA needs to learn about cyber security. servers were bad even when playable. mechanics were meh, could be worked on. Some hackers got into the server a while back, also, the whole issue with Titan fall 2 and apex was miserable for all parties involved, overall devs or the people who direct the company are lazy because they won't fix anything unless they start losing money and by then Phil Swift can't even slap a piece of flex-tape over to stop the leakage. They do try new things, but only once or twice a year.

Very fun game, this rogue like shooter/ability slinging game is a fantastic game to play with or without friends.

Items:
Items, are purchased with a currency you earn from opening small capsules and by killing monsters or by using the blood shrine, you then use that currency to open chests, chests come in 10 kinds small chest, large chest, a pick one of 3 chest, attack chest, recovery chest, utility chests, adaptive chests (goes through a bunch of items and you can only get one that you land on a mini-timing game) legendary chests (only appears rarely and in certain locations) and hidden chests (they're invisible) and the chests you must have a rusted key in order to find/open (reusable). There a 6 Classifcations of items, normal (white), uncommon (green), Legendary (red), Lunar (blue), boss items (yellow), and scrap items (any color) when you scrap an item it will become useless however you can use it in a 3d printer and it will use that first. 3d printers are a special device that takes one item of the same rarity and spits out the item shown on the 3d printer, this is expecially useful for stacking items.

Multiplayer/difficulty/objectives:
The multiplayer is up to 4 players and is most balanced with 1, 2 or 3 players i feel like loot becomes harder to divvy up when there's a fourth person. there are 4 main objectives you can do while playing this game, being the Completionist and collecting every last collectible and doing every last achievement until you have nothing else to unlock. There's the Survivalist which you attempt to survive for as long as you can or until you die going through each zone and trying to survive. The boss Battler, in which you either go to one of 2 end game bosses and beat them, and you can do speed runs for this too. Explorer, the maps in this game are of a decent size that'll reward you for finding places that most people would never find. Although you can always do mix of all of these or just play to play and have fun, the only thing that matters at the end of the day is, did you have fun?

Characters/gameplay:
there a variety of many different kinds of characters you can play however you do have to unlock them by doing certain "achievments/quests" but, each has it's unique style, like spider-man? well you can swing from walls and smack stuff with your hands and launch yourself through the air with loader, like to sit back and just sorta aim at something and do some dmg while running around huntress might be the pick for you! like poisoning your enemies til they're too weak to fight you, acrid can do that. like doing massive amounts of damage on the first hit? Artificer can do that! like being a ninja and jumping all around your target while doing damage, there's a character for that too!

Gameplay:
Each game is unique in each run, you could be a different character each time, you get different items to boost your character, you get different bosses, and areas to explore you get more items to use each time you do a run making you more powerful each time. You have two resources you have one is a permanent each run you have this resource called lunar coins, lunar coins stay with you until you spend them you won't lose them at the end of a run either. Gold (or the main currency) is obtainable easily and you get more as time passes, you should use most of your gold before leaving each zone because the excess gold is turned to experience points. Zones are certain maps that are numbered at the top right of the screen, and as you progress you will see different ones, to progress from each zone there's a teleporter that you can activate and it'll do two things, create a zone in which you must stay to charge the teleporter, and 2, summon a boss, there's no harm in leaving the zone but make sure you come back once you're safe or have enough health. each zone will have boss that you will have to defeat becoming harder and harder, but they will also drop 1 item for each person once defeated. experience or levels in this game are minor stat increases but can be very useful if properly utilized.

Graphics:
Very simple graphics that make it easy to understand what is happening but, semi cartoonish but clean. makes it easy to play for all ages 13+ very little to no blood/gore making it easy on the eyes for more younger players as to not disgust anyone. runs on nearly any machine that has a graphics card gtx 680 and up however lag is to be expected occasionally in highly intense fights where there are a lot of particle effects.

Overall:
This game is semi-complex to learn but is easy when you play it, giving it depth gameplay wise, but the story i feel is a little lacking but can be fleshed out through reading codex' and other logs, the interpretation is mostly up to the player. I would give this game 10/10 for gameplay and mechanics, 7/10 for story, and 8/10 for graphics, 10/10 for individuality or uniqueness. overall i would give this game a 9/10.

Short ver: Good Time waster. Makes you think about upgrades ( not including just the normal weapon upgrade. ) lots of thinking to do to min-max. Very Interested to see Stargate. Would recommend playing if you play idle games/grindy games. would not recommend to Shooter Fans, RTS fans, MOBA fans, Fighter fans, or any action packed fast paced games.

This game is a good time waster while waiting for queues to pop, people to "AFK" and come back, and also if you have nothing else to do at the time. This Nifty game looks to be very confusing at first, but it becomes very simple once you get over the curve, I'm still having issues on exactly what do i focus, between the upgrades for global damage and scrap income, or the stuff in the armory where you can unlock weapons that are different from the base one you start off with, i'm still trying to figure out if i should keep upgrading sections or to max out my damage and scrap income. The game definitely makes you think about how you should optimize/unlock things i didn't really upgrade the automatic side of the game because i didn't want to just put on an automatic machine to do everything for me for the beginning of the game, then i'd learn nothing about the game and be confused when next week it's automatically bought all these things I don't understand so i can't show my friends how much time I've sunk into the game and "wow" them with the numbers.
