To preface, this is the first AC game I've bought, and I got it on sale. That said, I'm very impressed with the gameplay and the world. As someone who loves the classics, this depiction of ancient Greece is amazing! It's packed full of beautiful locales and has a plethora of different regions to explore, each with their own differing sub-cultures. The combat feels fluid and the different ability trees help introduce a good balance of strategy in choosing which weapons to equip with which abilities. I'm still on my first playthrough, but so far the story is compelling enough and contains a good amount of intrigue (to say no more as to avoid spoilers)

I can't speak to the multiplayer as I'm in between computers and my laptop cannot handle it. But the single player is very fun, and picking up the game isn't too difficult even as a first time Mount and Blade player.

Havent gotten too far into it, but from what I've played its very fun. You can do basically anything you want and the lore of the world is very rich. Plenty of freedom to choose how you want to fight and what weapons you'll use.

Worth the $20 and a no brainer if it is on sale. The graphics and effects are holding up well, and there are free HD texture packs that will help with that.

This game is possibly the best free game I've ever played. It's maintained by one dude, Nelson, who is an amazingly dedicated dev. Updates come out regularly that add new items, crafting recipes, maps, and bug fixes.

Alot of potential for fun for literally no cost. No real reason to not download unless you have some strange hatred for sandbox survival games.

I played probably 500+ hours of Civ 4 before this.
Civ 4 was great.
Civ 5 was pretty good too.
Civ 5 with Brave New World and Gods and Kings expansions, even better than Civ 4.
Esspecially with the awesome community mods that are super easy to install and use.
Only down side is its a pretty bulky game, and it also will keep you up until 3 AM as you "write a paper".

Go ahead and buy it though, best nation sim by far.
