This game is a labor of love by Arrowhead and their mastery of the Co-Op shooter is on full display. They enjoy their game and actually care about how players experience it. There are far too few developers that care for their player base - in the short time since launch Arrowhead has proven they both listen and support their base.

If you've enjoyed Homeworld, Fractured Space, or The Expanse you'll find a surprisingly good mashup in Nebulous.

Early days, but full of promise. A ton of depth in what's currently available, with more on the way.

Whether modifying individual missiles or entire fleets the game can send you down the build-craft rabbit hole quickly - especially once you realize that INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS MATTER. A single ship can turn the tide of battle, if played well. You rarely feel that you're just throwing ships at a problem.

Left 4 Dead, but the gunplay and melee combat aren't trash. FOR THE EMPEROR!

Post-Release Update: Performance optimization and full features not really in place yet - noticeable drop in performance from Beta to full release. If addressed it's a solid purchase.

A low-key shooter that consistently delivers on gunplay. The multiple currencies and upgrade materials can be an absolute nightmare to understand for new players, but the customization is very satisfying.

A fantastic, cooperative experience with enough depth and variance to keep you coming back for more. Frequent changes and updates from a team that knows precisely what their players want.

If you've been holding off on getting this game because it's early access - don't. Your entire friend-list is playing it for a reason.

Nostalgia trip for the Escape Velocity players out there, with some shiny new features.

Solid little direct-control strategy. Great for a team. Fixes and additions on a regular basis.
