If you're not shy of a bit of difficulty and meticulous exploration or you enjoyed System Shock 2 you will definitely love this game. I really like the sense of immersion that I get from the game's refusal to hold my hand. The game trusts you to be smart and observant enough to examine the environment, find important audio logs and data sticks, and figure out what your objectives are rather than being pointed directly towards them. It's pretty crazy how ahead of its time System Shock was and I'm glad I can still appreciate that through the remake. This game had crawling around vents and beating enemies with tools before Half-life, a vertically stacked world with respawn points before Dark Souls, and an antagonistic female AI talking to you and trying to kill you before Portal.
