I was a fan of harvest moon 64 and now I think it sucks because of this game

Lots of fun, reasonably difficult and a surprising amount of replay value and content. This game is so damn japanese and I love it. If you like stylish games with decent music this is for you.

Love this game. I pirated it and played through it a while ago. I thought I would be a good consumer and let the publisher know I like games like this by giving the my money and buying this game on steam. I can't even get the game to run because of Uplay. I don't know where my 78 minutes in the game came from because I have never actually played the game through my steam version. Uplay is not drm its a reason to pirate games. Love the game, hate Uplay.

I know this game is currently being updated but as the game sits it feels incomplete and like it should be an early access title. When playing this game I was sure it was a beta or something but I was suprised to find out it wasn't being sold as an early access title. The art style is weird and assests don't really fit together, the sound effects were probably taken from a royalty free site and they sound very cheesy, and the viewpoint of the game seeing individual blocks as more like logs is unnecessary and confusing. The ideas presented in this game are really cool and the whole build your own airship thing works but there are too many other things that just don't in my opinion. Maybe after a significant amount of updates this game will be a lot better but since it's not an early release title, this cannot be guaranteed.

Keep in mind this game can be a bit tedious and hard in the beginning but is very rewarding in the freedom you get later on. If you like Minecraft DO NOT JUMP INTO THIS GAME! Many people like to compare Terraria to Minecraft and in my opinion these two are not comparable. If you like Minecraft there is a good chance you will like this game but it doesn't mean you will automatically like it. This game has vast content and if you play platforming games that require dodging attacks and combat, your knowledge will carry over somewhat and you won't have such a hard time in the beginning. With content updates still to come, this game is far from dead. If you can appreciate a bit of difficulty this game will be much more enjoyable.

It is very hard to make something difficult and fun. This game is difficult and fun. There is a lot of room to improve at this game and tons of items to unlock as well as random generation so this game is hugely replayable. If you like a challenge, indie games or rogue-likes just buy it it's pretty cheap.
