Currently have 2 close to complete decks playing nearly entirely free to play. If you like modern solitaire- I mean Yu-Gi-Oh but not the cost this is the game for you.

Seriously though konami, half those gem prices or add much more and people might be more tempted to buy them. Its easier to farm gems in game or make a smurf account than to justify those prices

Every update paradox releases, the game gets slower. Game cant even go like 4-5 years before you start getting slowdown already. Their solution? Make everything build even slower so the economy doesn't start lagging the game. Not to mention how painful it is to pass laws, especially specific ones locking you off from certain play-styles (i.e how hard it is to get multiculturalism now.) Nothing like watching a circle go slowly for 3 in game years, crippling your economy with various administrative debuffs just for a CHANCE to make some progress.

Sphere of Influence mitigates a lot of the downsides, but not completely. It also adds some new ones. There needs to be a system for influencing multiple leader candidates in a party, so you dont just endlessly re-roll generals and hope for a humanitarian or something or other.

Power block mandates can negate other annoying parts of the game, or give strong bonuses. Its just a shame forming one prevents any fun interaction between other power blocs. I tried the whole game to get one GP ally multiple times but apparently my customs union has cooties.

Military has also improved and degraded. Nothing like watching an army path a near entire circle to a battlefield when they could just go in a straight line and arrive in a shorter distance.

Puppet diplomacy have been improved and degraded. Want to annex one of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥, one state minor vassals, well then all of your other ones will drop into full rebellion. The debuff needs to be nerfed or only given to nations with a shared interest or something. Especially since african colonial puppets are ENCOURAGED to be formed by the game. Speaking of which, wheres the "multicultural/keep current laws" option for colonial puppets. If I already passed it why is paradox instantly removing it? Especially when you then have to re-pass multiculturalism in ALL your puppets that existed in land that USED TO BE MULTICULTURAL. Not only that, but they get pissed if it fails, causing a diplomatic influence sink.

Not to mention its probably around the 1900's if you have already passed multiculturalism so the game has reached the turtle speed zone and there's a lot less time to repass these laws

High Skill cap game with decent replayability excellent story great build diversity fun, unique weapons.

And most of all, the double-dash-jump. Car chases are things of the past when you can chase a car on foot.

What an amazing game.

Want to arm chair general? Automate 90% of the game and watch your borders grow. 10/10 potential once more expansions come out.

The game switches between ♥♥♥♥ you fromsoft, and 10/10 masterpiece.

Domestic terrorism simulator. Excellent destruction physics. Old graphics and grindy gameplay, but man are those some good destruction physics.

10/10 auto refueling turrets to kill of local populace
