This game is incredible if you set your expectations right, if you're going into this with the expectation of a great story, great character design and a really good looking world you're in the right place. But if you're going in wanting to run around an open world, jack cars, run from the police and do your own thing this probably isn't the game for you (Yet). The open world AI is pretty bad right now, people in cars are brainless, the police do not chace you and pretty much spawn randomly. The open world feels pretty dead when you arent in a mission, so bad that even extremely old games like GTA SA feel like they have a more alive open world. Hopefully this will be addressed soon!

Overall the game is well worth it if your following the story and side missions. I finished the main story in about 25 hours but the multiple endings, side missions and places to explore should keep me busy for many more hours.

First of all the fact that this is a 100% free Portal 2 Add-on is incredible and truly appreciated.

I found this game after seeing a number of posts saying its pretty much Portal 3. I don't know if we will get a Portal 3 but this isn't it. But it doesn't need to be! This game goes on its own path while still paying homage to the original. The story is part of the Portal universe without trying to rewrite it too much which makes the name Portal Stories perfect.

I found the levels in this game far more challenging that Portal One and Two. All the levels are incredibly thought out and resemble some of the best levels in Portal 2 Community Chambers. I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 - 5 hours of puzzle solving.

While I really enjoyed the story in this game I did find that the build up to the climax kind of went on and on with the narrator saying the same thing every chamber. "After this chamber I will hack so and so" "After this chamber I will move so and so". Don't get me wrong, the story is still engaging and mysterious I just found a slight bit of repetition in the later chapters.

Game is 10/10 if you enjoyed Portal 2 you will enjoy this. Give it a try!

I've played this game for just under an hour but already feel pretty comfortable with the mechanics due to its similarity with other games in its genre. I was a huge fan of ace of spades in its prime and havent found something to fill the void since the serves closed down. While being a close match this game is missing some key elements and has some pretty big issues:
Cons
- Every game will have a hacker (there is a ban hammer but is often only used on none-cheaters who are playing well)

- Trying too hard to be CSGO (what was great of Ace of Spades was it was pretty simple, you had a few classes and game modes and you could easily find one you liked and get the hang of it. In BlockPost you are forced into buying chests to get more guns to build up your own classes. To me it feels like this game is too simple for a mechanic like this and I would much rather have set class)

- Buggy Building (The gun play in the game is really great but the mining and building is really not there yet, the blocks often glitch, players can trap you in their blocks and everything about building feels sluggish. I find that this results in more of a COD or CSGO game play rather than a mix of Minecraft and a first person shooter as no one really wants to build anything.)

Pros:
- Its tiny! (from clicking install to being in my first match was actually under 5 minutes! Because the game is so light it also runs on some lower spec hardware)

- Its fun! (Despite the hackers and building issues the game is still really really fun, shooting down walls and building your own sniper hideout really makes it interesting)

- Gun mechanics are on point (A few other block based FPS really struggle with this which makes the gun play quite boring. In Blockpost the gun play is one of the best aspects about the game, all the guns (that ive tried) feel well balanced and easy to use.

I see some people complaining about pay to win, you do need to pay to get certain guns however its not disproportionately more powerful. The people with the crazy expensive snipers will kill you and as annoying as this sounds I didn't take too much issue with it as I found myself still getting kills on other players. Whether this is a deal breaker is up to you.

Such a shame that the campaign only focuses on D-Day and on wards only focusing on the Americans perspective. Would have loved to fight as other Allies or even played as an Axis country. Misses the chance the cover the whole war and become a somewhat educational game. Also if you are buying this for the campaign and not multiplayer dont waist your money, its a very short 9 hour campaign.
