Sure, Alien: Isolation has some flaws that are widely discussed over in all the forums : an underwhelming ending cinematic, some repetitions, thin DLCs... But overall, it was a very strong experience for me (and it's a fanservice-fest for all Alien lovers out there). As in the movie, I found the scariest threat to be the location, this big chunk of clunky metal with its rattling, slurping, booming and clinking noises. The chase by the Alien is also increasingly frantic and you go through a series of very operatic scenes, each one giving the feeling of a grand finale before stepping up the stakes. I would definitely recommend, espacially as the game can be surprisingly cheap on some sales.
