Based on the same premise as the first Trine, the story and immersion of Trine 2 did improve somewhat, and the levels became more detailed in my opinion. Trine 2 also has beautiful atmosphere and satisfying game mechanics and could get a bit more challenging on harder difficulties but maintained a relaxed feeling overall. Would recommend!

The premise of Trine allows for interesting and fresh game mechanics, as you essentially play three potential people at once and can shift between them at will. The levels were beautifully rendered engaging, although the character development and the story itself were a little tenuous. Fun, with scalable challenge; would recommend!

Unlike most Borderlands games, this variant does not involve excessive combat and hours of leveling. Like most Borderlands games, though, the story is engaging, thorough, immersive, and fresh, and I enjoyed every minute. At the cost of a sandbox feeling, Tales from the Borderlands does an excellent job in breaking down some of the more monotonous drawbacks of a typical Borderlands game while retaining the soul and charm of one, and I would recommend it for anyone willing to try something different.

A truly hilarious game with a delightfully absurd storyline and immersion feeling. Try not to have a better day after wiggling your way spastically across the family kitchen with many near falls and shattered dishes, only to have your slightly disappointed wife look directly into your octopus face and simply chide you for clumsiness as she continues to accept you as a human male. It is impossible. Highly recommend

A satisfying mystery game, like most of the franchise, this one had some interesting twists all its own. Appreciated the achievements and, as always, the immersive character development and educational puzzles.

Though fairly par for the course as Nancy Drew games go, the achievements were a nice addition to this particular mystery. Most games in the franchise are well-known for their immersive, puzzle-based gameplay and suspect-questioning mechanics, which I always enjoy, and this one did not disappoint.

An excellent addition to the LEGO game collection, with plenty of material and characters to propel the gameplay. The inter-level world felt particularly huge and detailed, which was a nice bonus over other LEGO games, but like all the rest, this one ended up grounding me more thoroughly in the stories and settings and characters than the movies themselves did at times. Would highly recommend.

Excellent game, like most LEGO games, even if in this case it was based on a movie trilogy that did not really have enough book material to warrant an entire three-movie set. The gameplay and open world between levels was delightful, as always, and even with the less substantial amount of story, the levels were engaging to the end. Would recommend.

As a fan of LEGO videogames, I was not disappointed in this one. The levels were replayable and engaging without being tedious, the world felt huge, and the activities and collectibles reliant on different dinosaur types were a nice touch. As usual, I ended up with a more detailed understanding of the story arc and character/dinosaur names after playing this game than after watching the movies themselves.

A very satisfying game for mindless dungeon crawling with the pretense of quest-like purpose. The atmosphere and animation support a feeling of wholesome, simplistic adventure, and the inventory/commerce and random event mechanics add a nice touch. Not a contender for best story or most exciting missions, but relaxing and enjoyable all the same.
