It is fun and challenging to balance resource production, money, citizen satisfaction and city growth. Travelling on the world map with your wagon is an interesting take on story/career progression and very cool IMHO.

Definitely come back in a couple of months and see if the developer has ironed out the bugs and polished the game off a bit.

It's a one man developer and massive kudos to him, but it shows in the buggy and sometimes a frustrating game experience in it's current state. One example: I am in story mode currently and trying to continue a saved city but I am stuck on the "Terrain model is loading" notification (tried restarting the game 5 times but the problem persists), the calendar is still ticking up, but only a few buildings have loaded and the Terrain model is loading" notification panel is in the middle of the screen, also can't leave the game because this panel is blocking out the exit game panel (must use ALT F4). I tried deleting the save and restarting the city but now it loads with zero resources, so you cannot build anything, so I guess my story mode is now bricked unless I restart the entire story mode from scratch (no thanks).

I do like the game and will try going on in the career mode, let's see what breaks there.
