Universim presents a visually stunning world where players guide a civilization from the Stone Age to the space age. However, its promise is overshadowed by tedious waiting for research progress, leading to long stretches of inactivity. While the game offers moments of satisfaction in watching your civilization evolve and facing unpredictable events, its disjointed research tree and lack of meaningful interaction limit its potential. With improvements to pacing and depth, Universim could stand out in the god-game genre, but currently falls short of expectations.

Game would be amazing, if you could ever get into the game. Server waiting simulator... at Capacity... Retry 30 seconds... wash rinse and repeat for hours.

First thing, this is not GTA. If you can let go of that expectation it is an amazing game to play with a good immersive story(play all the gigs/side quest). Most of the bugs are fixed, if not there are workarounds to continue to progress. Play with the build you are most comfortable with and enjoy, all will complete the game.

Early Access Review
First off this game is amazing, and when you play with friends its even better. With all that being said I will not recommend this game until they take control over the Hacking. Almost everygame it seems that we run into hackers, this should be fix number one. I play on the test server not because of the new map, but to get away from the hackers. Maybe I should suck it up and play the low FPS Xbox one version because I really do like this game.

If you enjoyed Company of Heroes, and you were a diehard fan. Please do not purchase, its the same game with a screwed up commander selection with no tree. The graphics are just a little bit better, but not enough to get my thumbs up.
