The Warscape Engine improves the ranged and cavalry aspects of battle tenfold, but regress the infantry at a pace the North Koreans would be in awe of, and the campaign and accompanying strategic map ranges from underwhelming to dogshite. The final nail in the coffin is how poorly it runs, for example, selecting a spy makes the framerate tank from 60 for less than 15 frames per second.

Thankfully many of the issues in the vanilla game that impinge the experience are rectified by the Radious Total War mod, but CA certainly dropped a clanger on this one.

Overall, eh.
