God this game is good. It just scratches the itch I lost after excessive paradox games. I like doing the macro and micro of city management. Designing systems that fill spectrum requirements for progression. I prefer to play the Aevias fish people. Who get a high enjoyment of fresh water but also hate hospitals and physicians. Something that I force them to use anyway for their own health.

Love this game and all its applications.

Apparently the moderation was transphobic. The issue has resolved itself by just nuking global chat and removing a questionable moderator.

Dont get this game unless you are a hardcore enthusiast. All the normal features that make modern multiplayer shooters work well for modern audiences are not in this product. No way to confirm kills, hard to control character, and goofy combat inputs. Tbh I am surprised wasd is the movement considering other design choices.

But before some negative nancy says "ur bad" I must say that the generals are inconsistant at best. When there is real teamwork and proper battles its enjoyable. But there was very little feedback at all. I need to confirm kills with finding the body. Which would be cool if it was a hardcore gamemode but its the only gamemode.

Only really play it with friends. Its more friendly then factorio.

At first I wanted a fixed civ V. But while initally dissapointed. I see civ 6 carved out its own unique identity that makes it a good sucessor in the civ series.

Time intense but fun to play

its for sure a big brain game. It took be 30 hours before I knew what I was doing but had fun while learning. Lots of it is story telling the history of a nation you control.

10/10 Invaded Madagascar as the Iroquois in a multiplayer game only to be beaten by the Hindustan army with better technology.
