So much emptiness. So many meaningless side missions that exist just for the grind. Dumb AI. And the same old recycled Bethesda way of making games. All of this for the all time low price of €70. Can't beat that nowadays

TL;DR Sickness is an experience well worth every penny it costs!

Now to the longer reason why it's worth to have in your library. The game is very different from one playthrough to another (given you don't make the same choices of course), every storyline is deep in its own way and sometimes events turn 180° from one scene to the other. Sickness is gripping, and soon after you start playing you will find yoursef going fast throught the scenes not because you want to finish one more game from your library and move to the next, or just get all the achievements, but because you can't wait to see how things will unravel. Without spoiling, I'll admit there were quite a few times I was caught off guard by the events in the story. So much infact that I'm not so comfortable to admit it was a game that moved me.

The bottom line.
Sickness is dark, sad, disgusting, intricate, disturbing, happy and memorable. It makes you think and feel as the characters do, and as of my two cents.... It's hands down a game I would recommend to visual novel lovers in a heart beat :)

Intel Core i7 6500U on a Dell XPS 13 handles Portal 2 @ 1280 x 720 on Med to High detail with 60fps, can barely run this game on lowest settings with 10fps. Just sayin'

Hardcore reviewers online say it sucks... Well I think hardcore reviewers are not so hardcore after all. They have been using Xbox and PS controllers for years now. They grab the Steam controller and say "OMG it's so weird, it's so uncomfortable". Why don't the "hardcore" reviewers use the Steam controller for some years and then give their opinion. I wasn't a rich kid, so my parents didn't buy me a Xbox or a PS, so I never got used to their controller layouts over the years. The most interaction I have had with Xbox or PS controllers was when I was visiting friends that had them. I bought the Steam controller, used it for 2 weeks and already it feels better, it is the most comfortable experience so far.

Game is somewhat nice, worse than Portal 2, but still entertaining. However there is a pretty frustrating jumping bug if you are running the game in 144Hz refresh rate. If it wasnt for that bug I could have finished the game in 1/10th of the time.

A simple proof that the quality of the pixel doesnt count, and that it doesnt matter if there is a tripple "A" behind the title.
