Even in its alpha state, the game has had me want to play it. One thing that it excels at is making me care about my characters which other open world sandboxes don't see me doing. For one, the aesthetics of the buildable buildings and turrets really gives a great wasteland/post-apoc feel. I also enjoy the fact that in order for my characters to get better they have to get beaten up and nearly die before they can turn the tables.

Valve has pulled an EA. Me paying for mods? No thanks; I'd donate to the modder, but I'd never actually PAY for a mod. I'll use vanilla and not download a mod. Its just a money grab to make money off of the people that fized Bethesda's mistakes. Valve's customer service is ♥♥♥♥ compared to Origin.

Skyrim's a fun game though.
