Conquerors blade, the game where for honor meets RTS
THE game that I have spent the most time on ever. A love and hate relationship that can only be described by money, grind and rivalry.

Including with the old mygames launcher I have surpassed 5,5k hours playtime, and theres one simple answer to this, Conquerors blade is a great and time consuming hobby. The game starts you off with a few simple low tier units. You then have the option of choosing between countless new and better ones that you upgrade and evolve into better units. The core consept of the game is that you then bring units into "sieges" the main gamemode where 15vs15 face-off on random castle map with good map variety. You then select your units as attacker or defender and the game is on. You fight over control over the map with your units and hero to be the best team and win.

This may sound like a basic consept but conquerors blade has one very important and good factor going for it: teamwork
With the "house"(clan) system you can group up with your friends and use different units to compliment eachother and coordinate your attacks. With both voice chats and many houses having a discord server theres countless of fun and interesting battles to be fought.
TW:
Territory war is where houses face-off against eachother over control of a world map: Somewhat similar to territories in "new world" for example, here your skill is really put the test and many houses have dedicated shotcallers and other staff managing these wars to provide content for those who play. Taking territory earns your house reputation and silver to compete for better territories such as capitals and side capitals for the best end of season rewards.
Monetization:
The game provides a "pay-to-progress" system where you could spend real money to progress faster, this isent a bad thing as you need skill to actually be able to good in battles, money cant buy you skill in this game, unless you get your hands on the right meta unit.
Meta and meta changes:
Diffrent units gets nerfed and buffed to fit the current state of conquerors blade, these can be good, bad or neutral in term of player response. Lets say you are a new player that has just unlocked a good unit only for it to be nerfed the next day and now youre sat disappointent that you cant do as good as you did a day ago is not a good feeling for a new player.
New players: Conquerors blade has struggeled keeping new players on the game due to the fact that the skill gap between new and old players close really quick because of the "siege" system. Once you are lvl 100 you are put in games with players that have several thousand hours on the game and are expected to perform against them. This has improved over the years ive played in terms of more early game quests and lots of bonus rewards for new players. So it is actually easier for new player to start today wich I strongly reccomend.
Future:
The future for CB looks bright in my eyes as we still see new communities pop up in game and after Poros took over the rights from mygames things have improved in terms of roadmaps and content.

My tips and tricks if you are a new player: Open F5 in-game and look through the seasons to find some unit challenges to start on. There are many seasons to choose from and I suggest one of the later ones for META advantages. Try to fight with your teammates in battles, only together you can achive greatness. Have fun in the game, theres a lot to take in the first time you launch cb, try and explore one thing at the time instead of getting frustrated that you cant figure something out straight away.

Early Access Review
Overall a fun and semi-challenging game(in this stage) it has clearly borrowed elements from they are billions which is an excellent game so im not mad.

The tutorial is ok- and explains the majority of the content, that is excactly the problem.
After the tutorial you get 2campaign missions and thats it. Other than that there is a endless mode which is fun if you got nothing better to do without any goals in life.

Now if youre really unlucky and spend 2 hours on the tutorial and the 2 missions like me you cant get a refund and the game has alrerady tricked you. There is nothing stating there is only gonna be 2 campaign missions and the map is huge. Showcasing the game as grand and many locations to visit, which in the state its currently in couldnt be more from the truth.

Im annoyed that this semi-rip off early access took my money and gave me ♥♥♥♥♥ in return
